Norris served in the US Air Force and went on to win multiple martial arts championships.

Chuck Norris, known for his role in Delta Force, is a highly skilled martial artist with black belts in five different disciplines: Karate, Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Judo.

Norris created his own unique martial art style, called Chun Kuk Do, and later taught it to many famous people.

Bruce Lee, a friend and fellow martial artist, gave him his start in film by casting him as the villain Colt in the 1972 movie The Way of the Dragon. Later, Hollywood icon Steve McQueen inspired him to pursue acting further.

He became widely known in 1993 for playing the lead role of Cordell Walker in the television series Walker, Texas Ranger.

Following the conclusion of his CBS series in 2001, Chuck starred in several films until 2006. His most recent prominent movie role was in 2012’s The Expendables 2.
