Anna Kournikova finally reveals the name of her baby with singer Enrique Iglesias – and it has a sweet meaning

Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias recently became parents for the fourth time, welcoming their new baby three months ago.

Former tennis star, 44, has announced the name of her baby son. She shared a recent, uncommon photo of her and Enrique’s, 50, children on Instagram on Thursday when making the announcement.

A sweet photo showed the three-month-old baby sitting with six-year-old daughter Mary. Eight-year-old twins, Lucy and Nicholas, stood next to them, seemingly on a boat in Miami, Florida.

The eldest children beamed for the camera as Anna took a photo of the sweet moment on her phone. 

Revealing her son’s name, Anna captioned the post: ‘Lucy+Nicolas+Mary+Romeo ❤️❤️❤️❤️’

A fan wrote, ‘Romeo is a lovely name for your son, and I’m happy you shared it with us!’

These messages all express delight with the baby’s name, calling it beautiful and praising its sound. One message specifically addresses the baby as ‘Romeo’ and includes a heart emoji.

Anna and her partner welcomed their fourth child in late December. They shared the happy news on social media, but haven’t yet revealed the baby’s gender or name.

She posted a cute picture on Instagram of her new baby, all cozy in a blanket and hospital hat, snuggled next to a stuffed sloth.

I mean, I needed to know everything and this source didn’t hold back! It’s like getting a peek inside their world, and honestly, I’m living for it!

People magazine reports that Anna and Enrique are thrilled to be expecting their fourth child and are incredibly happy.

I’m so happy for Anna and Enrique! They really cherish family, and I know they’re looking forward to the holidays. Their family gatherings are always special – it’s fun because it changes depending on who can make it, but it’s always full of love.

‘It will be busy and chaotic as always, only a bit more so, but all with joy and love.’

Anna announced in August 2025 that she was expecting another baby, and she and Enrique were excited to grow their family.

‘Both of them love being parents and having a fourth is the best present ever,’ the insider added. 

The Russian tennis player and the singer known as ‘Hero’ have been a couple since 2001. They first met while filming the music video for the Latin artist’s popular song, ‘Escape’.

Anna burst onto the scene in the tennis world when she turned professional at the age of 14.

She got as high as eighth in the world rankings but never won a Grand Slam singles title.

She found more success in doubles competition after teaming up with Martina Hingis. They won the Australian Open doubles title together in both 1999 and 2002.

Although she never formally announced her retirement, her final match was played in May 2003, at the age of 21.

Anna’s progress was unfortunately hampered by stress fractures in her back and feet. Because of previous foot injuries, people were particularly worried when she was photographed wearing a protective boot last year.

In January 2025, photos surfaced of Anna in a wheelchair and wearing a boot, which led to many people expressing their worry for her.

Photographs showed her being wheeled in a boot through the Bal Harbour shopping center in Miami by her daughter.

However, in early August, she was seen taking her kids to martial arts lessons in Miami, which reassured people that she was doing well and any previous health concerns were no longer an issue.
