Gia Fleur from Married At First Sight publicly criticized her ex-husband, Scott McCristal, in a harsh statement after they ended their participation in the show.
On Thursday, a 35-year-old mother publicly claimed in a social media video that Scott is unable to read, write, or spell.
Gia talked about her boyfriend, Alan, and explained that after she broke up with him, the 33-year-old businessman simply disappeared from her life, seemingly because he wasn’t being filmed anymore.
The bride, known for her strong personality, seemed to be reacting to a recent radio interview with Scott on the 92.9 Robbie and Carly Show.
Gia initially described Scott’s radio interview as ‘cute and sweet,’ but her comments quickly became critical.
Let’s be honest, the main issue we need to talk about is your difficulty with spelling, reading, and writing, Scott.
She then said that Scott had mispronounced the word “anonymous” and misunderstood what an “epiphany” meant.
An epiphany is that sudden, brilliant moment when something clicks – a realization that feels like a lightbulb going off in your head. It’s when you have a surprisingly insightful thought.
When you say you had an ‘epiphany,’ like ‘Gia and I had a big epiphany last night and got through it,’ what you really mean is you had a disagreement or argument.
She also claimed that Scott had misunderstood the phrase ‘set in stone’.
‘You mean “setting the tone”‘ she said.
Gia was upset with Scott for bringing up her eight-year-old daughter, whom she had let meet her co-star (who played her husband on TV) during the show’s filming.
She suggested focusing on solutions for improving education, stating, “Instead of concerning ourselves with my daughter – who is doing wonderfully – let’s talk about how to get education back on track.”
She snapped back at Scott after he criticized Gia for starting a new relationship so soon after their breakup.
She shared that she’s truly in love and in a wonderful, serious relationship, not just a casual one.
Just because you didn’t find love quickly doesn’t mean you get to tell others how long it should take them, dear.
Once the bride posted the dramatic video on Instagram, people immediately reacted to Gia’s harsh comments about Scott.
One person exclaimed, clearly shocked by the behavior, while another compared it to the immaturity of a young teenager trying to fit in with a popular crowd.

Gia recently became news after revealing photos of her new boyfriend, Alan Wallace – a star on the show ‘Love Triangle’ – appeared online while she was still shown as married on the reality TV show ‘Married at First Sight’.
