Not bending for Beckham: Brooklyn dodges reunion with younger brother Romeo in LA after near-miss with estranged dad David at Beverly Hills hotel

Brooklyn Beckham narrowly missed running into his father, David Beckham, at the luxurious Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles on Monday. Sources now reveal he’s also declined an opportunity to reconnect with one of his brothers.

Twenty-three-year-old Romeo Beckham is currently working on his own business ventures in Los Angeles after recently joining his father, David, and friends for a ski trip in British Columbia, Canada.

Romeo Beckham is teaming up with designer Justin Saul, who is originally from Malibu. He was spotted visiting Saul at his Los Angeles office on Tuesday.

Since arriving with his family, Brooklyn Beckham has mostly stayed out of the public eye. He’s been spending his time at his $16 million Beverly Hills villa in the private Trousdale Estates neighborhood, following a recent appearance with his wife, Nicola Peltz, at Elton John’s Oscars viewing party on Sunday.

According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Brooklyn hasn’t been in contact with his parents for a while. While it’s upsetting, this is reportedly how he and Nicola have decided to live their lives.

They hadn’t met, and if they had, it would have been an uncomfortable encounter.

Brooklyn has firmly stated he wants no contact with his parents, David and Victoria, which likely prevented a lot of emotional distress for David.

Just a few days before, Brooklyn and David had almost run into each other twice at the Beverly Hills hotel. David had arrived late Sunday evening.

The famous soccer player was in Santa Monica Monday morning to film a commercial for Lay’s potato chips, which are sponsoring the upcoming World Cup.

Surprisingly, Brooklyn showed up at the hotel that afternoon for breakfast and some relaxation by the pool, despite having been out late celebrating at Elton John’s Oscars party.

Years later, his father unexpectedly showed up for dinner at the renowned Polo Lounge with two friends, including David Gardner, who used to be very close to Brooklyn.

Brooklyn’s decision to cut off contact with his father and brother follows his public snub of the UK’s Mother’s Day celebration in March.

Many saw it as a pointed omission of his own mother, Victoria, when Brooklyn chose to publicly acknowledge and celebrate his mother-in-law, Claudia Peltz, on her birthday, March 15th – a date that also happened to be a British holiday.

Although Brooklyn hasn’t been seen publicly during his father and brother’s quick trip to Los Angeles, Nicola Peltz, 31, was photographed going to a meeting in Hollywood on Tuesday morning.

In photos published by the Daily Mail, the actress, daughter of Florida billionaire Nelson Peltz, seemed completely relaxed and carefree.

Wearing black leggings, high-platform boots, and a stylish bomber jacket, Peltz didn’t seem to notice the Beckhams were visiting.

Brooklyn and his family haven’t been getting along for over a year, and tensions became public when he and Nicola skipped all of David’s big 50th birthday party events last May.

Last summer, the Peltz-Beckhams’ lawyers reached out to the Beckhams with two requests: that all communication go through their legal representatives, and that the Beckhams refrain from mentioning them on social media.

In November, everyone noticed that the couple wasn’t present when David Beckham and his family went to Windsor Castle to watch him receive his knighthood from King Charles, something he had hoped for for a long time.

Just before Christmas, Brooklyn cut off contact with his parents on social media. Then, in January, he published a six-page letter on Instagram explaining, in very direct terms, why he had stopped speaking to them.

The 27-year-old claims his mother, a fashion designer, behaved inappropriately at his 2022 wedding and attempted to create conflict between him and his wife, Nicola. She has denied these accusations.

He blamed his parents for being overly controlling his whole life and stated he didn’t want to make amends with his family.
