Okay, so the trailer for Beyond Paradise season four just dropped, and things are looking tense! It seems DI Humphrey Goodman (Kris Marshall) is facing a really tough call. We already knew from the season description that he’d have to make a decision that could seriously impact everyone at the police station, but the trailer makes it clear: someone’s getting fired! It’s going to be a dramatic season, hitting our screens on Friday, March 27th.
The brief trailer revealed that Humphrey is being asked to reduce his team, and he’s the one who has to decide who will be let go.
I’m so excited for the new season! The trailer and what I’ve read suggest big changes for Humphrey – he and Martha are finally leaving the boat and moving into a house! Plus, it sounds like they’re promising some really interesting cases, and even a murder mystery, which is a bit different for this show – those don’t happen too often in the Death in Paradise world, so I’m definitely intrigued!

The investigation into a novelist’s death becomes complicated as the lines between reality and local legends begin to fade, especially since the novelist had predicted their own death.
What began as a captivating evening of Dark Morris dancing quickly took a turn for the worse, complicated by a treasure map’s disappearance and unexpected return, and rumors of a vengeful mermaid seen off the coast.

Zahra Ahmadi will be back as DS Esther Williams for season four, continuing her storyline after the emotional fallout from her breakup with Archie Hughes (played by Jamie Bamber) in the Christmas special. Jamie Bamber will reprise his role as Archie, and Dylan Llewellyn as PC Kelby Hartford and Felicity Montagu as Margo Martins will also return.
The series will include Barbara Flynn playing Martha’s mother, Anne Lloyd, and Melina Sinadinou as Zoe Williams, Esther’s daughter. Several new guest stars will also appear throughout the episodes.

Just as the fifteenth season of Death in Paradise wraps up with its final episode, a new season is beginning. The show recently returned after a week-long break to make way for Comic Relief: Funny for Money.
The last episode will resolve the suspense from the previous one, where DI Mervin’s niece, Eloise, unexpectedly appeared. She quickly becomes involved in her uncle’s life, and it looks like she’s determined to show her father was wrongly accused. You can find more details about this storyline here.
