Morgan Burtwistle, who gained fame as ‘Angry Ginge’ on last year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity,’ has been relishing his newfound success after becoming a popular figure on television.
I’m so excited for him! This 24-year-old creator, who I’ve been following on YouTube and Twitch for ages, just moved into an incredible mansion in Bowdon, Altrincham – it’s a really posh area, famous for being where a lot of footballers live. It’s absolutely stunning!
Okay, so I’ve been following Angry Ginge forever, and can you BELIEVE this?! Apparently, he’s splashing out on this HUGE house – six bedrooms! – for like, twenty grand a week! It makes sense, I guess, considering he basically built his whole following by streaming himself yelling at screens for ten+ hours every single day. Seriously, that’s how he got famous! But still… twenty THOUSAND a week?! It’s insane, but honestly, he deserves it. He’s a legend.
This luxurious home, valued at approximately £3.2 million, is located in a highly desirable and private area of Cheshire. It’s a popular spot for Premier League footballers and TV celebrities who want to live near Manchester with both privacy and status.
Growing up in Salford as a massive Manchester United supporter, the boy now lives near some of his heroes – players like Marcus Rashford, Phil Foden, and Luke Shaw. Plus, United’s training center, Carrington, is just a short drive away.
It’s not only famous footballers who choose to live in the area; actor Barry Keoghan, known for his role in Saltburn, and social media personality Molly Mae Hague also call Cheshire home, and it’s easy to understand the appeal.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen a lot of beautiful homes, but Ginge’s mansion truly stands out. It’s a massive four-story estate where luxury isn’t just a word, it’s a way of life. Think gorgeous, custom-made Italian furniture combined with all the latest smart home technology – it’s the ultimate in comfortable, high-end living. It really sets a new standard among these grand properties.
The house features a spacious interior with three reception rooms, plus leisure facilities like a gym, steam room, and sauna. It also includes a bar, wine cellar, games room, and a private cinema for entertainment.
In other words, everything a newly crowned millionaire and TV sensation could want.
But this lavish lifestyle is a world away from the modest upbringing that shaped him.
Ginge had a tough upbringing, raised by a single parent on a low-income housing estate in Eccles, Salford. He’s often talked about the money problems his family struggled with when he was a child.
Michelle, his mother, worked hard to support her two children, including his sister Tasha. She earned only £12,500 a year from working at a care home, plus extra shifts in a school kitchen and doing cleaning jobs.
The family was struggling to afford their house payments. To help, 18-year-old Ginge volunteered to move in with his grandmother and reduce the financial strain.
The streamer, just starting out, later rented a very run-down flat for £350 a month. He described it as awful, and it had problems like mould, peeling wallpaper, and a broken shower. It was so basic, the front door didn’t even have a handle.
When he first started streaming in 2020, at age 19, his audience peaked at only 40 viewers, and he made a total of £12.44.
But the gamble paid off.
Ginge started posting consistently, and his popularity quickly grew, earning him 1.5 million followers on the platform.
Ginge has become one of the UK’s leading online personalities, thanks to his hugely popular YouTube channel – which boasts over a million subscribers – and his growing success as a streamer, boosted by his appearance on the show I’m a Celebrity…!
And the star is clearly thinking long-term about his wealth.
Last December, he secretly bought another property in Tyldesley for £420,000, using a Manchester estate agent to complete the deal. People close to him think he plans to rent out the house and add it to his collection of properties managed by his company, Ginge Properties.
This popular online creator is already starting to build a successful business, proving he’s not just spending his earnings, but wisely investing them too.
The stars being targeted by AI-generated videos
The problematic world of celebrity-endorsed weight loss ads has reached a new low, with the celebrities themselves now being taken advantage of.
TV personality Ashley James was shocked and angry to find a realistic AI-created video of her advertising weight-loss pills being shared online.
She explains the deepfake video was so realistic – it perfectly copied her face, voice, and movements – that she initially didn’t even realize it wasn’t her.
Even more concerning, the video shows her sitting on the This Morning sofa with Ben Shephard, creating a comfortable and familiar scene that likely makes viewers feel safe and trusting.
Jameela Jamil expressed strong anger that her image and values, which have always been against dieting and focused on accepting all body types, are being used to promote weight loss products. She feels her message has been taken over and misused.
The mother of two emphasized that she would never support messages telling women to change who they are to fit others’ expectations.
She isn’t the only one facing this issue. TV doctor Amir Khan was also targeted, and he shared that a cancer patient reached out to him after watching a false video claiming he endorsed unproven prostate treatments.
Despite repeated attempts to have the content removed, the clips persist.
This is a worrying new development in a common scam targeting public figures, and it highlights how easily things online can be faked.
Lifestyle influencer discloses eye-popping earnings
Ever seen those polished ‘day in the life’ videos on social media and wondered how the person creating them can afford such a nice lifestyle – the fancy car, endless clothes, and regular fitness classes?
London influencer Jess Cheng recently shared a detailed look at her finances, and the results are pretty surprising.
The 34-year-old content creator recently shared that she earns an impressive £30,000 each month – her best income yet. This is particularly remarkable considering she only started focusing on content creation full-time last year.
Cheng earns most of her income through sponsorships with brands like Three UK, SHEBA, and TK Maxx, who pay her to create content that matches her distinct style and appeals to her dedicated audience.
This honest account provides a unique look behind the scenes of an industry built on appearances, and shows that the pursuit of influencer success is still very much alive for many.
UP
Okay, I’ve been watching the red carpets lately, and honestly, it’s stressing me out. I can’t look away, but it’s just… everyone is so unbelievably thin again. It’s really noticeable, and frankly, it’s a little scary to see. It’s like we’re going backwards, and I just keep staring, hoping I’m imagining it, but I’m not.
After years of celebrities publicly supporting inclusivity, there’s a growing trend of them moving away from it, and it’s concerning.
I’ve been noticing a really interesting trend lately – a definite change in style – and it’s been popping up everywhere, from major award shows to all the fashion weeks. I recently had the chance to hear model Adwoa Aboah speak in London about her new Topshop collection, and she touched on this shift, which was fascinating.
Aboah recently opened up about her struggles with body image, especially after having a baby.
She confessed that before her daughter was born, she spent a lot of time worrying and having negative thoughts about her body.
She’s now focused on being kind to herself, hoping to set a good example for younger people and encourage a healthier way of thinking.
However, Aboah’s concerns went beyond just her own experiences. She pointed out a broader decline in inclusivity within the fashion industry, stating it’s currently not a welcoming space for everyone.
Honestly, I think she’s right on the money. It’s not just about one thing, but a feeling that everything is just…off. And it’s so refreshing to finally hear someone actually say how backwards things seem!
DOWN
I really like Samie Elishi from Love Island. She’s always been kind, friendly, and a pleasure to be around whenever I’ve met her.
Honestly, when she won Love Island All Stars last month with Ciaran? I was thrilled! It was SO deserved, I knew she could do it! I’ve been following her journey for ages, and seeing her finally get the crown just made my whole week. I was screaming at the TV, seriously!
Which is why this latest twist feels, well, just off.
Just three weeks after their seemingly perfect ending on the show, Samie and Ciaran have already broken up. It only lasted three weeks!
Following the pattern of relationships that begin on reality TV shows, most couples try to make things work publicly, even if just for appearances, sponsorships, and to maintain a loving image on social media.
It does make you wonder what was really going on behind the scenes.
I spoke with Samie at the BRIT Awards last month, and she was already planning to use the £25,000 she won – her share of a £50,000 prize – as a down payment on a house.
Sensible? Yes. But it sounded, even then, like someone already making solo plans.
A fresh new fashion brand is quickly gaining popularity in the UK, and you’re likely to hear a lot more about it soon.
Garage has made a very noticeable entrance, and its bright pink branding is now appearing all over the place.
The popular Canadian brand, recently expanding from the US, is preparing to launch major stores on Oxford Street in London and at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. However, it’s their unique marketing strategy that’s generating the most buzz.
The streetwear brand is making a big splash with its UK launch, partnering with several reality TV stars like Grace Jackson, Shakira Khan, and Megan Forte Clarke from Love Island.
And it’s not stopping there.
A glamorous launch party is happening tonight, and the guest list is full of popular social media personalities, trendsetters, and other influential figures.
There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the brand right now, with many influencers eager to collaborate and capitalize on its growing popularity and vibrant marketing campaign.

I’ve been obsessed with Fenix in Manchester ever since it opened in 2023! It’s the place to be for Instagram photos, and it’s no surprise – they’re constantly getting amazing guests like Molly-Mae Hague and even Lennon Gallagher. It’s quickly become the most popular spot in the city, honestly.
Good news for Londoners! The incredibly popular restaurant known for its Mykonos vibe is opening a new location in the city this week, and they’re celebrating with a big launch party.
The original location was so popular, likely due to its beautiful Greek design, that brothers Adam and Drew Jones decided to open a second one in Manchester.
I’m hearing it’s already completely booked and everyone wants to hire it, so you’ll likely be seeing it all over Instagram soon.
