Marvel Studios Star Reveals Who The Deadliest Assassin In The MCU Is

Wilson Bethel, who plays Dex Poindexter in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again season, has shared his opinion on the most dangerous assassin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – and many fans likely agree with his choice. Bethel will reprise his role in Season 2, sporting a costume inspired by the comics, and is expected to continue his deadly activities while trying to stay hidden from Mayor Fisk’s task force. While Season 2 will present challenges for his character, Dex has already established himself as one of the MCU’s most skilled and ruthless killers, suggesting he’s capable of overcoming any obstacle.

So, I was listening to the Daredevil: Born Again podcast’s Season 1 retrospective, and Wilson Bethel, who played Bullseye, jokingly said his character is basically the most dangerous assassin in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was a fun little boast, but it definitely got me thinking about just how lethal Bullseye really is!

Hi, I’m Wilson Bethel, and I portray Bullseye, the MCU’s most dangerous assassin. It’s a pleasure to be here!

It’s easy to see why Bethel reacted that way, considering Bullseye has already established himself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as an incredibly dangerous and accurate fighter, capable of weaponizing anything around him.

Despite lacking any special abilities, Bullseye is renowned for his perfect accuracy and unblemished record, establishing him as a prime contender for the title of the MCU’s deadliest assassin.

Wilson Bethel has hinted that his character, Bullseye, will be even more reckless and threatening in the second season of Daredevil: Born Again. He’s described this new version of Bullseye as different from anything viewers have seen before.

After trying to kill Mayor Fisk, Vanessa Fisk, and succeeding in killing Foggy Nelson in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again, Bullseye has become a major target. The second season will also feature returning stars like Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, and Krysten Ritter, along with other familiar faces.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 24.

Why It Makes Sense That Bullseye Is the MCU’s Deadliest Assassin

The Marvel Cinematic Universe features many dangerous assassins, like Black Widow, Yelena Belova, Ghost, and Taskmaster. However, Bullseye is unique because he relies purely on skill to hit his targets and is notoriously unpredictable in a fight.

Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova are both highly skilled assassins in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, largely due to their upbringing and training in the Red Room. However, Bullseye has a unique edge over them: his incredible accuracy seems natural, while they depend on their training and the tools they use.

Ghost uses her ability to phase through objects, giving her an easy advantage in fights. Taskmaster can copy moves he sees, but it doesn’t automatically make him a typical assassin. Elektra is a skilled close-combat fighter, but she doesn’t have Bullseye’s knack for using anything around him as a weapon from a distance, which makes him a greater threat because he can attack from anywhere.

Bucky and Bullseye are both highly skilled fighters. While Bucky has the benefit of being a super-soldier with extensive combat training and weapon proficiency, Bullseye’s pure skill – honed without any superhuman enhancements – ultimately makes him the more formidable opponent.

Honestly, when it comes to taking people out from a distance in the MCU, nobody even comes close to Bullseye. His accuracy is just terrifying – he’s easily the most dangerous assassin around, in my opinion. He doesn’t miss, and that’s what makes him so scary!
