TLPH continues its pursuit of the Golden Road after defeating Aurora Gaming Turkey in the M7 World Championship’s Knockout Stage on Day 4.
Aurora Gaming Turkey, a surprising contender at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M7 World Championship, battled Team Liquid PH (TLPH) in the Knockout Stage. While the Turkish team put up a strong fight against the tournament favorites, TLPH ultimately won the series 3-1, showcasing their dominance.
Here’s a quick summary of the Aurora Gaming Turkey and TLPH match from Day 4 of the M7 World Championship Knockout Stage.
Aurora Gaming Turkey vs TLPH: M7 Knockout Stage Day 4 Recap
Game 1
Aurora Gaming Turkey quickly took the lead in the first game, playing very aggressively and putting Team Liquid PH on the defensive. Ahmet “Rosa” Batır played exceptionally well with Pharsa, repeatedly preventing TLPH from getting into a good position to attack. Even with this pressure, TLPH stayed competitive by focusing on important objectives like taking towers and securing buffs. Both teams were constantly moving around the map, fighting over resources and engaging in small battles.
After just nine minutes, Aurora Gaming Turkey had a significant 5,000 gold advantage and successfully took the Lord, putting TLPH on the defensive. Aurora’s Leomord player, Sidar “Tienzy” Menteşe, was dominant, ending with an impressive 5 kills, 1 death, and 7 assists as he repeatedly eliminated TLPH players. Aurora then finished the game with a strong attack, destroying TLPH’s base and winning the first round convincingly.
Game 2
In Game 2, Aurora Gaming Turkey picked Pharsa for Rosa again, but TLPH countered by selecting Yve for Alston “Sanji” Pabico and Valentina for Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya. These two champions gave TLPH excellent teamfighting ability, allowing them to dominate, take resources from the map, and control key objectives.
Around 9 minutes into the game, TLPH was significantly ahead, leading by 5,000 gold and dominating the map. However, Aurora Gaming Turkey didn’t give up, managing to stay in the game despite losing several team fights. They got a much-needed break around 14 minutes by successfully defending their base and eliminating four players from TLPH.
Despite facing challenges, Şiyar “Sigibum” Akbulut switched to a damage-dealing Esmeralda and built a late Holy Crystal, making Aurora a powerful force in team fights by 17 minutes. However, a crucial fight around the 25-minute mark dramatically shifted the game in TLPH’s favor when Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno achieved a Savage with Yi Sun-Shin. With no one left to defend, TLPH quickly destroyed the crystal, tying the series. This was KarlTzy’s second Savage in M-Series competition.
Game 3
The third game was a very close match, with both teams fighting hard for every advantage. Although TLPH had a good team composition, Jaypee had some difficulty playing Chou and was often caught out by the opposing team. However, TLPH was still successful thanks to Sanji’s excellent positioning with Pharsa, which allowed him to control team battles, and Sanford’s ability to catch opponents off guard with his Arlott.
TLPH quickly took advantage of their strong lead and control of the game. After winning a major team fight around 14 minutes, they pushed forward and decisively won the third round.
Game 4
The intense action continued in Game 4, with TLPH playing very aggressively and constantly putting pressure on Aurora Gaming Turkey, forcing them to adjust their strategies. Aurora managed to survive by winning a few key smaller fights, which prevented them from being overwhelmed early on. A major team fight around the 8-minute mark went in Aurora’s favor, with Mehmet “Lunar” Ilgun getting a triple kill and securing a free Turtle for his team shortly after.
The game’s momentum swung back and forth. TLPH took heavy losses and lost control of the map, allowing Aurora to capitalize with a successful push down the bottom lane and damage their defenses. But TLPH quickly recovered, winning a crucial team fight and taking control of a powerful objective. With this advantage, they immediately pushed down the top lane, ending the series and claiming victory.
