Adwoa Aboah poses topless and reveals she was left ‘short of breath’ by restrictive corset she squeezed into for Vanity Fair Oscars party

Adwoa Aboah shared a photo of herself without a top, explaining that the tight corset she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscars party made it hard to breathe.

The actress went to the glamorous after-party following the awards ceremony, but she didn’t quite feel at ease.

On Tuesday, 33-year-old Adwoa shared photos on Instagram of her outfit, carefully covering up for the pictures.

She penned in the caption of her post: ‘Short of breath in Margiela at @vanityfair @guiducci.’

I was so excited to see her at the party! She looked incredible – she wore this really chic black dress and completed the look with beautiful, flowing silver earrings. It was a perfect outfit!

The star welcomed her daughter Shy Trinity with her boyfriend Daniel Wheatley in August 2024.

The film ‘One Battle After Another’ concluded the 2026 awards season with a Best Picture win at the Oscars. Michael B. Jordan and Jessie Buckley were recognized as the top actors of the night.

At the 98th Academy Awards, Michael Jordan, 39, surprised many by winning Best Actor for his role in ‘Sinners.’ Meanwhile, Buckley, 36, was named Best Actress for her performance in ‘Hamnet’ at the ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Paul Thomas Anderson, along with Teyana Taylor and the entire team behind the film, received the night’s biggest award. The movie was also the biggest winner overall, taking home six awards.

I was absolutely thrilled when this incredible American black comedy action-thriller won! It really stood out against some seriously strong competition – films like Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, Sinners, and Train Dreams were all in the running, and it still managed to take the top prize. It was a fantastic victory!

Led by Leonardo DiCaprio, the movie ‘One Battle After Another’ follows a group of former revolutionaries who come together again when one of their own needs help – their enemy unexpectedly returns after sixteen years, forcing them to reunite and take action.

Everyone is likely to be talking about Jordan winning Best Actor for his performance in Ryan Coogler’s movie, Sinners. It was the biggest moment of the night.

Thirty-year-old Timothée Chalamet, known for his role in Marty Supreme, surprised everyone by beating out the expected winner at multiple awards shows. He competed against established actors like Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent).

I couldn’t believe my eyes! There he was, Jordan, actually walking onto the stage, and who should be there to greet him but Adrien Brody! Adrien Brody! Last year’s winner! I almost lost it. It was like a dream, seeing those two together. I was screaming internally, honestly. It was the most amazing moment ever!

The story follows two brothers who move back to their hometown hoping for a fresh start, but they quickly find themselves facing a terrifying new threat: vampires.

Jordan played both of the Moore brothers in the movie: the older, more serious Elijah, nicknamed ‘Smoke,’ and the younger, more lighthearted Elias, known as ‘Stack’.

Jessie Buckley continued her winning ways as she earned Best Actress for her role in Hamnet.

Thirty-six-year-old Irish actress Alison Oliver won the award, defeating nominees Rose Byrne, Kate Hudson, Renate Reinsve, and Emma Stone.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s film, One Battle After Another, dominated the awards night, winning both Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Meanwhile, Sean Penn was not in attendance as he earned his third Oscar.

The famous actor, age 65, won the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in One Battle After Another. Kieran Culkin announced his name as the winner, but the actor wasn’t present to accept the award.

Amy Madigan took home the first award at the Oscars 2026 on Sunday night.

The veteran actress, 75, won the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the supernatural horror mystery film, Weapons, directed by Zach Cregger.

The category proved to be one of the night’s most competitive, with nominees including Elle Fanning for ‘Sentimental Value’, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas also for ‘Sentimental Value’, Wunmi Mosaku for ‘Sinners’, and Teyana Taylor for ‘One Battle After Another’.

Ryan Coogler won his first Best Original Screenplay award for his film, Sinners.

A particularly moving moment of the evening was Autumn Durald Arkapaw’s win for Best Cinematography for her work on Sinners.

I was absolutely thrilled when KPop Demon Hunters won Best Animated Feature Film! It was such a groundbreaking moment – a real highlight of the awards night, and honestly, so well-deserved.
