Dune 3 trailer confirmed to release today as dramatic first look at “epic conclusion” lands

Warner Bros. announced that the trailer for Dune: Part Three will be released this afternoon. They also shared a sneak peek at what they’re calling the grand finale of the Dune trilogy. The trailer, based on the novel Dune: Messiah, will be available at 4pm.

Okay, so Warner Bros. dropped a bunch of character posters on social media yesterday, and it got me hyped! They basically said, “Get ready!” with the hashtag #DuneMovie. Even cooler, they’re debuting the first teaser trailer live on TikTok tomorrow at 4pm. I’m definitely setting a reminder – I want to be one of the first to see it!

The posters for the final installment of Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy hint at the story’s conclusion with the tagline: ‘The epic conclusion.’

The newly released poster features the returning cast, including Zendaya as Chani, Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides.

New character posters showcase Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, who surprisingly returns for the sequel even though his character died in the first movie, and Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, who has a limited role in Dune: Messiah.

The new posters revealed the first images of Isaach de Bankolé joining the series as the character Farok, and also showed Robert Pattinson as Scytale, the film’s villain.

Robert Pattinson subtly confirmed he’s part of the Mickey 17 film. While discussing his movie Die My Love with IndieWire, he casually mentioned his work on the project – a typical move for the actor.

He admitted it felt good to stop overthinking. He explained that filming Dune in the desert heat was so intense that he didn’t have the energy to question anything.

It was incredibly relaxing – I felt like my brain completely shut off. I honestly wasn’t thinking at all, I was just happily letting Denis Villeneuve take the lead.

The movie will continue the story after the events of Dune: Part Two, where Paul Atreides defeated the Emperor and took control of the universe.

The third Dune movie is scheduled to come out on December 18, 2026. You can currently purchase Dune: Part Two on digital platforms like Prime Video, iTunes, and the Microsoft Store in the UK.

The latest issue of Living Legends, a vibrant 100-page tribute to Harry Styles, is now available! You can find it at newsstands or purchase it online.
