Demon Slayer’s Infinity Castle Anime Movie Finally Exits Theaters Next Month

Fans in Japan can collect special illustration cards starting March 20th. The first card will be available until March 27th, and the second from March 28th to April 9th. When combined, these cards feature all the main characters from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. The biggest news for fans is that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle will soon be finished in theaters. This means what fans have been waiting for – for over six months now – is finally about to happen.

Released in July 2025, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle quickly became a huge hit. In the following six months, the film earned over $770 million worldwide, including more than $136 million in North America. This success made it the highest-grossing international film in the United States.

Even though Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle is only the first of three movies that will conclude the series, that doesn’t mean more Demon Slayer content won’t be released. According to reports, Netflix is planning to quickly produce a live-action Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series for streaming, and the response from fans hasn’t been as negative as some might have anticipated.

In December, Eric Aguilar, who voices a character in the English dub of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, expressed excitement about the possibility of a live-action adaptation. He said he believes it could be done well, as long as it stays true to the source material.

Aguilar believes Demon Slayer is appealing because it attracts viewers who might not typically watch anime. He notes that even his parents, who weren’t previously interested in the genre, started watching because of his involvement.

The movie Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — The Movie: Infinity Castle is playing in Japanese theaters until April 9, 2026.
