Nepo babies dominate the star-studded red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscars bash – so how many do you recognise?

The 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday night was packed with A-list celebrities.

The red carpet at the event, held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, was dominated by celebrity children – often referred to as ‘nepo babies’.

As a longtime fan, I can tell you the afterparty is the place to be after the Oscars – seriously, it’s the most exclusive event! It’s invite-only, and only the biggest stars in Hollywood actually get in. It’s the official celebration, and getting an invitation means you’ve made it.

So the offspring of the rich and famous had all eyes on them as they posed up a storm.

Many of these children of famous parents have become successful on their own merits and achieved recognition without relying on their family connections.

So how many do you recognise? And can you guess who their famous parents are?

Kaia Gerber

I was absolutely captivated by Kaia at the event! She looked incredible in a gorgeous, strapless red velvet dress that really showed off her legs. She definitely turned heads – it was a show-stopping look!

The 24-year-old star looked stunning in a glamorous dress with a high slit, completing the look with silver earrings.

Kaia Gerber, daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, was then photographed with her friend, Cory Michael Smith.

Since her debut at Fashion Week in 2017, she’s continued the success of her mother, even winning Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2018.

Kaia, age 23, is also an actress. She appeared in the 2016 film Sister Cities and has been in several other movies and TV shows since then.

She faced criticism before for suggesting her family’s fame didn’t launch her career, arguing that if having famous relatives truly guaranteed success, we’d see it happen much more often.

Iris Law

Iris looked beautiful at the party in a see-through white dress that highlighted her figure.

She stood out in her flattering V-neck top, and her short blonde hair was styled in its signature bob.

Iris, 25, is the daughter of Hollywood star Jude Law and British actress Sadie Frost. 

She began her modeling career as a young teenager and has since appeared in ad campaigns for major brands like Miu Miu, Calvin Klein, and Versace.

She recently started acting, landing the role of Soo Catwoman in the 2022 miniseries Pistol. For the part, she shaved her head.

The 24-year-old model has spoken about how her parents, who separated in 2003 after six years of marriage, managed to give her a normal childhood, even with their fame.

Amelia Gray Hamlin

Model Amelia turned heads in a jaw-dropping look while attending the Vanity Fair Oscar Party

The 24-year-old, who comes from a famous family, wore a revealing black dress with cut-outs that showed her back and side.

Hairstylist Amanda Lee styled Hamlin’s smooth, center-parted ponytail for the after-party following the 98th Academy Awards.

Make-up artist Sam Visser used only YSL products to create a smoky eye and shiny lip look on a model from Lions Management.

Amelia is the daughter of actors Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin. 

Her mother is famous from being on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, while her father is known for his roles in L.A. Law and Clash of the Titans.

Lila Moss

Kate Moss’ model daughter stormed the red carpet at the event too.

The 23-year-old woman looked stunning in a red dress with a low neckline that highlighted her figure.

Following in Kate’s path, she’s also become a model, and together they’ve graced the runways of top fashion houses like Fendi, Miu Miu, and Yves Saint Laurent.

Lila, whose father is magazine editor Jefferson Hack, proved her model credentials at the bash.

The young model says she hasn’t always followed her mother’s advice when it comes to her career.

‘I don’t know that my mum expected me to go into fashion, really,’ she told British Vogue in 2023.

I’m naturally shy, just like her, but she’s always been incredibly supportive of everything I do. However, she hasn’t assisted me with my gait or movement.

She kept saying, ‘You’ve just got to go with your instincts. I can’t explain what I do, I just do it!’ I replied, ‘Okay, then I guess I need to practice more.’

Ryder Robinson  

Kate Hudson’s son posed with his mum at the star-studded bash held in LA on Sunday night.

The actor, 22, looked smart in a black suit as he joined Kate who wowed in a cut out black dress. 

Kate shares Ryder with her ex-husband and The Black Crowes musician Chris Robinson.

Kate had her son, Ryder, with her then-husband, Chris, when she was 23 years old. They were married from 2000 until 2007.

Last year Kate opened up about raising a second generation of nepo babies.

On Thursday’s BBC Radio 2 show with Vernon Kay, Kate heard a recording from 2008 where she discussed her mother noticing her love for performing even before Kate herself was aware of it.

After watching the video, Kate explained that she believed Goldie had already realized there was no other option before Kate herself had even made a decision.

I see this quality in my son, Ryder. It’s something he’s not aware of yet, but I recognize it, and I believe my parents see it in him too.
