Sinners’ star and Supporting Actress nominee Wunmi Mosaku cradles her baby bump in a sparkly green dress as she arrives at the Oscars

Wunmi Mosaku showed off her baby bump in a shimmering green gown at the Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday.

The 39-year-old actress, nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Annie in ‘Sinners,’ stunned on the red carpet in a beautiful, full-length, long-sleeved gown by Louis Vuitton.

She finished her sparkling outfit with beautiful emerald earrings and bold silver rings.

Wunmi, who recently won an award at the BAFTAs and is expecting her second baby, looked thrilled while posing for photos on the red carpet.

The 98th Academy Awards will honor the top movies of 2025 at a glamorous ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Conan O’Brien, age 62, will host the show again this year, marking his second time as host after succeeding Jimmy Kimmel.

Ryan Coogler’s film, ‘Sinners,’ has received an unprecedented 16 Academy Award nominations, making it the most nominated film in the history of the awards.

The scary movie is nominated for Best Picture, along with nine other films: Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, and Train Dreams.

Michael B. Jordan, known for his role in Sinners, is up for Best Actor alongside a strong field of competitors. He’ll be vying for the award against Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent).

Sinners, a story set in 1930s Mississippi, centers around twin brothers – both portrayed by Jordan – who come home to discover a terrifying supernatural force at work.

The competition for Best Actor is incredibly close right now. Timothée Chalamet seemed like the frontrunner after winning the Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice awards, but Michael Jordan gained significant ground with his win at the Actor Awards (previously known as the SAG Awards).

The event is happening shortly after Timothée Chalamet made comments that many found insensitive – he suggested people aren’t interested in ballet or opera, which caused strong criticism from artists and fans.

I’m so excited about Josh Safdie’s new film, Marty Supreme! It’s inspired by the incredible life of Marty Reisman, a real table tennis star. Timothée Chalamet plays him, and the story is set in 1950s New York. It’s about this amazingly talented young player and how his drive to be the best in the world really puts a strain on everything else in his life – his friendships, family, all of it. It sounds absolutely gripping!

Jessie Buckley, the Irish actress, is currently the favorite to win Best Actress for her performance in Hamnet. She’s up against strong competition from Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I would Kick You), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), and Emma Stone (Bugonia).

Directed by Chloe Zhao, who won Best Director in 2021, Hamnet offers a fresh take on the personal life of William Shakespeare. The film explores how the loss of his eleven-year-old son deeply affected him and ultimately inspired his famous play, Hamlet.

Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another earned 13 nominations.

The film received several nominations, including Best Director, and acting nods for Leonardo DiCaprio as Best Actor, as well as Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn for Best Supporting Actor.

This darkly humorous action movie centers on a former revolutionary (Leonardo DiCaprio) who’s been living in hiding. He’s pulled back into the world when his old enemy – a corrupt military officer (Sean Penn) – goes after his daughter, forcing him to come to her rescue.

In addition to Penn and del Toro, Jacob Elordi (for Frankenstein), Delroy Lindo (Sinners), and Stellan Skarsgard (Sentimental Value) are also nominated for Best Supporting Actor.

Many expected Paul Mescal (for his role in Hamnet), Adam Sandler (Jay Kelly), and Jesse Plemons (Bugonia) to be nominated, but they were surprisingly left out.

The event starts at 7pm Eastern Time / 4pm Pacific Time and will be broadcast live on ABC. You can also watch it live on Hulu, or through streaming services like Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, AT&T TV, and FuboTV.
