Mobile Legends Patch 2.1.64 Update: Hero Adjustments, Battlefield Changes and more

The newest update for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Patch 2.1.64, includes adjustments to heroes, equipment, and overall gameplay. These changes are currently being tested on the Advanced Server. This update also brings back a new game mode for players to try out on the Advanced Server. Here’s a detailed look at what’s new in Mobile Legends Patch 2.1.64.

Mobile Legends Patch 2.1.64 Update: Hero Revamps

Revamped Aulus (Buffed)

We’ve improved how Aulus uses his ultimate ability, making the animations and effects look and feel better.

Skill 1 (Buffed)

Okay, so I just found out that when I’m playing Aulus, I can now use basic attacks while I’m using his Skill 1 and it won’t stop the skill from going off! Plus, I can still get that Control Immunity effect, which is awesome. It’s way smoother now – I don’t have to worry about interrupting his Skill 1 just to get some damage in.

Skill 2 (Buffed)

Cast Range: 4 >> 4.5

Ultimate (Buffed)

The Devs has optimized the Visual effects for Revamped Aulus’ Ultimate ability.

Mobile Legends Patch 2.1.6 4 Update: Hero Adjustments

Bane (Adjusted)

The developers have updated the visual design for Bane’s second ability, formerly called ‘Ale,’ to better reflect his lore. It’s now called ‘Sea Ink.’

Harith (Buff)

The developers are changing how Harith gets stronger as the game goes on. They want him to be a powerful, long-range hero who deals a lot of magic damage later in the game, but they’re also making him less strong in the early stages of the game, bringing his initial damage in line with other ranged heroes.

Passive Attribute (Nerfed)

HP Growth: 176 – 155

Skill 1 (Nerfed)

  • Base Damage: 165-290 (+60% Total Magic Power) >>> 135-235 (+60%-100% Total Magic Power)
  • Explosion Damage: 495-870 (+180% Total Magic Power) >>> 270-470 (+120%-200% Total Magic Power)

Skill 2 (Buffed)

  • Shield’s Magic Bonus: 120% >>> 80%
  • Enhanced Basic Attack Damage: 200-315 (+100% of Total Physical Attack) (+ 60% of Total Magic Power) >>> 175-350 (+100% of Total Physical Attack) (+ 100% of Total Magic Power)

Melissa (Nerfed)

Melissa received some improvements last week that made her more mobile and powerful in combat. However, the developers are planning to undo some of those changes this week.

Skill 1 (↓)

Dash distance: 3.5 >>> 3.1

Skill 2 (↓)

Damage: 250-400 (+80% Total Physical Attack) >>> 175-300 (+50% Total Physical Attack)

Terizla (Nerfed)

To keep Terizla balanced despite his skills having no mana cost, we’ve made slight adjustments to how quickly his abilities recharge. This ensures he stays powerful without being overpowered.

Skill 1 (↓)

Cooldown: 8.5s >>> 9.5-8.5s

Skill 2 (↓)

Cooldown: 9-4s >>> 9-5s

New Gameplay Mode Test – Treasure Hunt Coin

This week, the developers are reintroducing the Treasure Hunt Coin gameplay test. To coincide with events on the Advanced Server, players in Classic and Ranked matches will have a higher chance of finding Chests and Treasure Hunt Coins, both of which can be used to earn special rewards.

After reviewing the last test, the developers have changed how many Treasure Hunt Coins players earn from different activities. They’ve also decreased how often on-screen messages appear to keep the gameplay experience cleaner and less cluttered.

How to obtain Treasure Hunt Coins

a) Team Rewards: Treasure Hunt Coin amount varies by action.

  • Each time your team kills the Turtle.
  • Each time your team kills the Lord (starting from the 2nd kill).
  • Each time your team destroys a Turret.
  • When your team picks up Treasure Hunt Coins dropped on the map.
  • For every 10,000 Gold increase in your team’s total Gold.

b) Individual Rewards: Treasure Hunt Coin amount varies by action.

  • Each time you kill an enemy hero.
  • Each time you get an assist.
  • Each time you trigger an in-match Highlight Notification.

c) Winning the match grants 100% of the Treasure Hunt Coins, while losing grants only 50%.

How to Obtain Chests

Okay, so I just learned that whenever my team takes down the Lord for the very first time in a match, each of us gets a Chest! It’s awesome because we get rewarded even if we don’t end up winning the whole game. It’s a nice little bonus for working together and hitting that milestone.

Match Drop Limits

You can open up to 5 Chests each day, and a maximum of 35 during the event. You can also earn up to 300 Treasure Hunt Coins per match, with a daily limit of 1,000 (not including coins from Chests), and a total of 7,000 during the event (again, not counting Chest rewards).
