Holly Ramsay posted a sweet Mother’s Day message for her mom, Tana, but her husband, Adam Peaty, didn’t share anything about his own mother.
Gordon Ramsay’s 26-year-old daughter posted a collection of photos on her Instagram Stories celebrating her mother, Tana, who is 51. The photos also included images of her famous father, 59, and her 31-year-old Olympic athlete husband.
She shared a photo of herself with her mother from her December wedding and wrote a heartfelt Mother’s Day message, saying, ‘Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom. I love you so much!’
More photos surfaced, including one of the couple holding hands during Holly’s memorable bachelorette party. Another showed Tana and Gordon with Holly and Adam at their engagement party, all posing together.
As expected, Adam didn’t post a Mother’s Day message. This follows a recent falling out with his mother, Caroline, 60, which led him to uninvite her – and most of his family – from his December wedding to Holly, with the exception of his sister.
The issue stemmed from a family disagreement, specifically Caroline being left out of the bride’s bachelorette party last year.
Bethany, Adam’s sister, was the only family member invited to his wedding and was also a bridesmaid.
The long-standing family feud doesn’t appear to be ending anytime soon, especially after Adam’s aunt publicly criticized him for referring to his father-in-law, Gordon, as ‘Dad’.
The chef, whose new Netflix documentary includes the Olympian, recently shared that Adam had begun referring to him as ‘Dad.’ Caroline’s sister, Louise Williams, criticized this as overly flattering and insincere.
She shared a detailed post on Threads about the sacrifices Adam’s father, Mark, made to support his swimming. She explained that Mark, a bricklayer, worked incredibly hard – to the point of getting bleeding hands – to afford Adam’s lessons.
She expressed sympathy for Adam’s father, questioning how Adam could act the way he did. She reminded him that his father worked incredibly hard – literally to the point of bleeding – to support Adam’s dreams. He spent years doing physically demanding and exhausting work as a bricklayer, all without complaining.
Last month, Gordon Ramsay released a six-part documentary series showing his process of opening new restaurants in London’s Bishopsgate. The series also includes a quick look at the engagement party of Adam and Holly.
Before the documentary came out, Caroline asked to be cut from the film, even though she only appeared briefly in one scene.
Gordon recently shared on Gaby Roslin’s podcast, ‘Reasons To Be Joyful,’ that Adam gave him a new nickname last month, following the documentary’s release.
It truly warmed my heart when my son recently reached out. He actually messaged me, starting with ‘Hey dad, what are you up to?’ and then followed up asking if I was free later. It’s those little moments that mean everything, you know? Being a dad is the best!
It was just an amazing moment – truly incredible! They’re such a lovely couple, and a joy to work with for Tana and me.
Louise was furious when she heard the news and angrily told Adam to acknowledge everything his parents had done for him. She specifically mentioned his father Mark’s hard work as a bricklayer, explaining that it had helped make Adam’s Olympic dream possible.
I’m so emotional writing this. Your dad worked incredibly hard, even hurting his hands, to afford your swimming lessons before you started getting sponsored…
He worked incredibly long and physically demanding days as a bricklayer, a truly exhausting job. He did it without complaining. It’s also upsetting to see how Adams is now behaving towards Mr. Ramsay, and the awful way he’s treated my sister and brother-in-law.
She went on to mention that Adam had recently credited his swimming coach, Melanie Marshall, with helping him become the person he is today.
Louise continued, expressing sympathy for Adam’s father. She questioned how Adam could act the way he did, pointing out that his father had worked incredibly hard to give him the opportunity to follow his dreams.
You acknowledge Mr. Ramsay as a father figure and Mel as a major influence on who you’ve become. But what about your biological parents? That line of thinking is pretty disrespectful.
During her conflict with the Ramsays, she mentioned their media and public relations efforts, writing online: ‘Go ahead and insult us, I couldn’t care less…’
Adam and Holly Ramsay are aware they’ve made mistakes, and they’re now trying to repair their image publicly – through social media, television, and the press. They’ve hired a public relations team to present their actions in the best possible light.
But ultimately, the truth prevails. While you might be able to mislead people temporarily, the truth always comes to light. Consider the negativity displayed in his documentary as a clear example.
After the show came out, Caroline shared a message on social media. She observed that parents tend to concentrate on a child’s progress, discipline, and achievements, while grandparents often simply enjoy being present with them.
Forget grades, pressure, or trying to change things. Research indicates that children with involved grandparents tend to be more emotionally secure by the time they’re ten years old. When children receive love unconditionally, they develop a strong sense of self-worth that comes from within, rather than needing approval from others.
What I’m most proud of isn’t anything I’ve achieved professionally, or any possessions I own. It’s not about my job, my home, or how much money I’ve earned.
Becoming a mother has been the most incredible journey of my life. It’s been through the long nights, holding my little one’s hand, sharing both joyful laughter and comforting tears, and feeling completely healed by every hug. It’s truly the greatest thing I’ve ever done.
