Brooklyn Beckham takes another brutal swipe at mum Victoria by sharing a late birthday tribute to ‘the best mother-in-law’ Claudia Peltz – as Britain celebrates Mothering Sunday

Victoria Beckham had a difficult Mother’s Day on Sunday, feeling the strain of not being close to her oldest son, Brooklyn.

Across the UK, children celebrated Mother’s Day with cards, gifts, and loving messages. Meanwhile, in the US, Brooklyn made a pointed and harsh gesture by publicly honoring his mother-in-law instead.

A popular cooking personality joined Claudia Heffner Peltz, a former model, to celebrate her 71st birthday with her wife, actress Nicola, on Saturday night. They quickly shared a celebratory post on social media.

Just before Mothering Sunday in the UK, 27-year-old Brooklyn posted a photo on Instagram with Claudia and Nicola.

I was so happy to see my husband post a birthday message to his mom! It said, ‘Happy birthday to the best mother-in-law. Love u so much and hope u had the most amazing day.’ It really warmed my heart.

The timing felt especially intentional, as many people in the UK would be checking their mail on Mother’s Day morning.

Nicola, age 31, also shared photos online of her and her partner celebrating Claudia Heffner Peltz’s birthday.

Nicola wrote a heartfelt birthday message to her mom, saying she feels incredibly lucky to have her as a mother.

I was so glad to celebrate your birthday with you! You bring so much joy to my life and make the world a brighter place.

‘I love you more than you will ever understand. i hope all your dreams and wishes come true!’

David posted a heartfelt Mother’s Day message to Victoria, along with an old photo of her when she was expecting their child.

He wrote in a social media post: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom! You’re a wonderful inspiration to our four kids and everything a mother should be…’

Happy Mother’s Day! We’re so lucky to have you and the wonderful family we’ve built together. You deserve all the best – we love you so much, @victoriabeckham!

Victoria and David also posted messages to their mothers, Jackie and Sandra, to mark the occasion.

Victoria’s youngest child, Harper, shared a touching post on Instagram with a photo of the two of them.

Happy Mother’s Day to the most wonderful mum! I wanted to thank you for always being there for me, for your unwavering support, and for sticking with me through thick and thin. I don’t always express it, but I’m truly grateful for everything you do, day in and day out.

‘I love you so much and I hope you have the best day because you deserve it.’
