For a long time, people have speculated that Henry Cavill could be the next James Bond, given his experience playing secret agents in other films. However, in a recent interview, Cavill clarified that while he’s interested in being part of the James Bond series, he doesn’t necessarily want to be James Bond.
In a recent interview with Heat magazine, the actor who played Superman clarified that he didn’t reject the role, but simply wasn’t available at that moment.
Every actor dreams of playing James Bond. However, at my age – 42 – I think I’ve probably missed the chance to start a run as 007.

Instead, he’s got his eye on a different type of Bond character.
He admitted he’d love to play a Bond villain, adding that the right role would be a really interesting challenge.
