Anais Gallagher celebrated her mother, Meg Mathews’ 60th birthday on Saturday, calling her a ‘coolest chick’.

Noel Gallagher’s daughter posted photos on her Instagram Story to celebrate a special occasion for an animal rights activist.

Anais celebrated her mother’s 60th birthday today, calling her ‘the coolest chick‘.

‘Also, she’s been campaigning against animal cruelty since long before I was born,’ she added. 

Meg shared on her page that she’s planning to spend the day at an animal sanctuary in Norfolk.

She shared that it was a lovely day, as she was celebrating her 60th birthday with her family at The Gunton Arms, a place she particularly enjoys.

Meg and Noel got married in Las Vegas in 1997, but their marriage ended in divorce less than four years later. The breakup was particularly bitter and widely considered one of the most unpleasant celebrity divorces of recent times.

I was so relieved to hear that Noel and Katie Hind have patched things up! Apparently, Katie was a huge support to Noel during his really tough divorce from Sara MacDonald – it sounds like she was his rock. And get this – she even helped him work through everything with Liam about a possible Oasis reunion. It’s great to see them supporting each other again.

Meg, a well-known socialite, had met the guitarist nine months before he and his brother Liam (now 52) became Britpop stars with their hit first album, Definitely Maybe.

She proved Noel’s rock as he navigated his new-found fame but their marriage wasn’t to last.

Thanks to a VIP ticket from Noel, Meg went to the band’s first concert in Cardiff on July 4th with their daughter, Anais.

People said Meg left the show before the band played their famous 1995 song, Wonderwall – a song Noel supposedly wrote about her.

However, Meg responded on social media, explaining that she left early simply to avoid the large crowds leaving the event.

From what people can see, Meg and Noel seem to have mostly happy memories of their time together. As their comeback tour approaches, Meg has been sharing affectionate photos from when they were married, counting down the days.

People have different ideas about what brought them closer. Some think Anais was the main reason, while others believe it was their time on the Oasis tour that really solidified their friendship.

Anais has previously hit back at those branding her a nepo baby in an impassioned interview.

In an interview with H! Fashion magazine, the influencer expressed gratitude to her father, Noel, the famous singer, for the financial security he provided when she was starting out. However, she emphasized that she built her own career and achieved success through her own efforts.

Honestly, when she said that, it hit me so hard! She’s totally right – like, yeah, people focus on this industry, but there are WAY more dangerous places where you see who’s related to who getting opportunities. She brought up Donald Trump’s sons, and it’s just…true! It’s not unique to here, and sometimes the stakes are so much higher elsewhere. It just feels like people are selectively outraged, you know?

I’m much more worried about who’s writing the laws than about a parent helping their child pursue an acting career.
