Married At First Sight’s Stephanie Marshall celebrates birthday with new beau in Brisbane… as Tyson Gordon reveals why their relationship failed

Stephanie Marshall didn’t quite click with her husband, Tyson Gordon, on Married At First Sight, but she’s definitely not letting it get her down.

The reality TV star turned 33 this week and celebrated in Brisbane with her new boyfriend, Aaron.

The new couple happily showed off their growing affection, stopping for a kiss as they walked to a restaurant for a romantic lunch.

Stephanie was positively glowing as she walked, beaming as she held Aaron’s hand tightly in hers.

Aaron seemed delighted to be with Stephanie, beaming as he walked her to the restaurant.

Stephanie looked incredibly stylish in a bright blue, sleeveless dress that showed off her figure beautifully.

Oh my god, the dress! It had these amazing, bold gold buttons running all the way down, and the slit… the slit was just perfect. It showed off her legs, and honestly, she looked incredible. I’ve been screenshotting every angle, it was THAT good!

Stephanie tied her blonde hair back and completed her outfit with strappy gold heels, ready for her date.

For the event, Stephanie chose a simple, tan Saint Laurent clutch instead of flashy accessories.

Aaron, meanwhile, wore a light blue collared shirt and a pair of light grey chinos.

He completed his look with a mustache, a brown leather belt, and matching boots.

Stephanie told the Daily Mail that she and her partner started dating in late October, shortly after completing a property transaction.

She explained that she initially met him while selling him a house during a research project she was participating in. After the project ended, they did a final inspection of the property, and they’ve been dating ever since.

She said she and Aaron felt an instant connection, drawn to his kindness and emotional intelligence.

Stephanie made it clear that her ex, Aaron, and her current partner, Tyson, are very different. She described Aaron as immature, like ‘a big kid,’ and emphasized that they have completely different personalities.

Tyson also told the Daily Mail that he and Stephanie never had a romantic connection, and he characterized their brief marriage as being more like a close friendship.

‘Steph – I think she’s a great person,’ Tyson said.

Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to say about Steph. We just didn’t click, and it became clear we weren’t a good match.

He realized from the moment he saw Stephanie at their wedding that things weren’t going to work out.

‘I just didn’t feel the connection. I just didn’t feel the spark,’ he said.

When she walked down the aisle, I wasn’t immediately drawn to her. She was attractive, certainly, but I just didn’t feel a connection. I didn’t feel anything at all, really.

Tyson explained that the couple’s life outside of filming wasn’t nearly as chaotic as it appeared on TV. He said he distanced himself from his wife because he didn’t want to lead her on or waste her time.

‘There’s no point sticking around with someone that you don’t see a future with,’ he said.

‘The worst thing you can do is lead someone on.’ 

Tyson acknowledged that Stephanie was a wonderful person, but he expressed feeling disappointed with how things went between them on the show.

He felt like she didn’t support him, especially when it came to his conservative beliefs. He expected her, as someone he considered conservative herself, to have his back on those issues, but she didn’t.

We just didn’t really click, and I don’t think we both felt a strong connection.
