Britney Spears was pulled over and arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of driving under the influence by the California Highway Patrol. A spokesperson for the singer described the incident as unacceptable.
Twenty-seven-year-old Lilly was arrested Tuesday morning based on an outstanding warrant. This warrant relates to a previous arrest in December, when she was taken into custody for allegedly harassing her ex-boyfriend. Police identified Lilly in December after a license plate reader flagged her 2012 Mercedes C-Class as belonging to a person with an active warrant.
Police stopped the car at a Circle K convenience store in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, after the driver made an illegal lane change, according to the report. The driver, Lilly, was handcuffed and arrested, and she asked officers to bring her purse with her to the jail in North Charleston.
When officers searched her purse, they found a small container labeled “Happy Pills” containing twelve white pills and half of a blue, oblong pill. Lilly explained the white pills were birth control and the blue one was Xanax, stating she had a prescription for the Xanax. However, she couldn’t name the brand of the birth control pills. Officers couldn’t identify the white pills, which were marked with a “P,” using standard online resources.
After the pills were sent to a lab for analysis, Lilly was released from custody with a promise to appear in court. The lab results, received in late February, revealed the pills actually contained clonazepam, not birth control medication. As a result, a new arrest warrant for Lilly was issued on March 2nd.

Lilly was released from jail on Tuesday afternoon after posting a $10,575 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on May 1st and again on August 21st.
A spokesperson for the cast member of “Southern Hospitality” didn’t respond to a request for comment as of Friday.
Lilly was issued a harassment warrant last year after her ex-boyfriend filed a complaint with Charleston police. He claimed she had harassed him for two years – both in person and by phone – regarding a cat they had acquired together in 2022 and 2023, according to a December report from WCBD News 2.
According to reports, he filed a restraining order against her in November. Then, early in December, he informed the police he wanted to pursue criminal charges against her.
