After almost three decades on the air, the entertainment talk show Access Hollywood, hosted by Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover, has been cancelled.
NBCUniversal has announced it will stop producing Access Hollywood, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
NBCUniversal is restructuring its first-run syndication team to better match what local TV stations want to air, according to Frances Berwick, Chairman of Bravo & Peacock unscripted programming.
The company will continue to distribute its current shows and other content it already owns, but it will stop making new, original programs.
These shows have been a source of popular discussion and entertainment for years, and we’re incredibly proud of the people who make them.
The other shows which have also been cancelled are Access Live, Karamo, and The Steve Wilkos Show.
