Oh my gosh, it just broke my heart to hear Kelly Osbourne went to visit Dad – Ozzy, I mean! She laid flowers at his final resting place in Buckinghamshire on Friday. It’s so sweet and sad all at once, seeing how much she misses him. I can’t even imagine how tough that must be, but it’s beautiful that she’s keeping his memory alive like that.
Oh my gosh, I was devastated to see Kelly posted a picture on her Instagram today. It was the most beautiful bouquet of flowers, laid right on her dad, Ozzy’s, grave. It just breaks my heart knowing she’s still grieving him after all this time, but it’s so sweet she keeps his memory alive like that. I’m seriously obsessed with how much she loves her dad!
She shared a photo of the grounds of his Buckinghamshire home, showcasing a large flower arrangement by the lake that spelled out a profanity-laced message: ‘Ozzy fg Osbourne’.
Captioning the post, she wrote: ‘Spent some time with my daddy this morning!’
Kelly recently responded to harsh online criticism of her appearance, which has continued since the passing of her father. At the same time, her mother, Sharon, is now having to spend part of the year living in the United States, a difficult decision made after her husband’s death.
Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic frontman of Black Sabbath, passed away from heart failure on July 22nd. This came just two weeks after he played a final concert with his band at Villa Park stadium in Birmingham.
He was buried on the grounds of Welders House, a historic building that Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne bought in 1993, not long before they moved to Los Angeles.
Ozzy is buried in Buckinghamshire, but his three children – Aimee, Jack, and Kelly – and their five grandchildren have gone back to their homes in Los Angeles.
After the Christmas holidays with her kids in Los Angeles, Sharon plans to divide her time between her home in the UK and a new apartment in LA. She intends to spend at least half of the year on the West Coast, as reported by The Sun.
Sources suggest this change could become permanent, and she’s likely to be living in the US for the majority of the time again within the next few years.
Sharon deeply loves her grandchildren – Pearl, Andy Rose, Minnie Theodora, Maple Artemis, and Sidney – and those close to her say she wishes she could spend more time with them every day.
Sharon, a former judge on the popular TV show The X Factor alongside Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, has many connections in Los Angeles, where she and her husband, Ozzy, lived for two decades.
The Osbournes, a popular reality show that aired from 2002 to 2005, was mostly filmed at the family’s house in the upscale Hancock Park area of Beverly Hills.
Despite living elsewhere, Ozzy, originally from Aston, Birmingham, always said he wanted to spend his final days back in England.
When his health began to decline, they listed their US property for $18 million. This encouraged Sharon to renovate their UK home to make it more suitable for his growing care needs.
She designed a special section for his physical therapy to help him regain his ability to walk. She also had an apartment added to the house for a live-in nurse who could provide continuous care.
The renovation included a fitness and wellness studio, an art room, and a pool house with a sunroom, spa, shower, and changing facilities.
As a lifestyle expert, I always advise my clients on creating a peaceful environment for wellness. In Ozzy’s case, that meant a bit of privacy! We installed a pretty substantial fence – about 8 feet high – to give him some space to work out without feeling like he was on display. We also upgraded the security cameras around his property, just to ensure everything stayed private and secure while he focused on his fitness journey.
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne planned to come back to the UK in 2024 while filming a ten-episode reality show called ‘Home To Roost,’ which would follow their move back to England.
People thought Ozzy wasn’t healthy enough to continue, so the tour ended early last summer. This allowed him to return home in time for his last concert with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham.
On stage, he reunited with the other founding members of the band: Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.
Weeks later, on July 22, he died at home from a heart attack, aged 76.
The Daily Mail has contacted Sharon’s representatives for a comment.
Last month, Sharon experienced her first Valentine’s Day since separating from Ozzy, and she shared a sad message about it.
The businesswoman, married to the famous musician from Black Sabbath for over 30 years, lovingly recalled her husband seven months after his death.
Sharon shared a touching photo on Instagram of her and her partner holding hands, with the caption ‘Forever Valentine’ and an infinity symbol emoji.
