55-year-old Ben Rathbun, a prominent figure in the fifth season of TLC’s reality series 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, tragically passed away.
The reality star passed away on Monday at his home in Greencastle, Indiana, according to TMZ.
It’s said that Rathbun was grappling with advanced stomach cancer, a condition he wasn’t aware of until late 2024.
In his last moments, he was with his cherished family members nearby, as a family representative shared with the media outlet.
On the reality show “90 Day Fiancé,” Ben, then aged 52, gained notoriety primarily due to his long-distance romance with Mahogany Roca, a woman from South America that he met online.
At 22, she was 30 years his junior when they appeared on the series.
In March 2022, Rathbun found himself at the center of a commotion after his arrest in Michigan for alleged drunken driving.
He had also allegedly been driving with an expired license at the time.
