Annabel Schofield has died aged 62 following her battle with cancer

The 80s supermodel and actress passed away on February 28 in Los Angeles, California.

Born in Wales, she rose to prominence in London’s vibrant fashion world during the 1980s and later starred in the popular TV drama Dallas alongside Larry Hagman.

When she was most famous, she was managed by Take Two Agency in London and appeared on the cover of countless magazines, becoming a well-known model.

The actor also became the face of several major brands, appearing in campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Rimmel, Revlon, and Boots No.7.

She first gained widespread attention for appearing in a popular Bugle Boy Jeans television commercial.

In the commercial, she famously asked, ‘Excuse me, are those Bugle Boy jeans?’ while driving a black Ferrari through the desert.

Melissa Richardson, who used to own Take Two Agency in London, shared a statement honoring the star.

She shared that she was a frequent model for Italian Vogue, often chosen by the renowned photographer David Bailey.

‘She was the forerunner of Take Two — without her, we could never have made it as we did. 

We adored her because she was genuinely funny, beautiful inside and out, and incredibly grounded. She remained the same kind, sweet person I first knew when she was just seventeen, a girl from Wales.

She was fiercely loyal, deeply caring, and strikingly beautiful. A true master of her profession, she was simply the best.

Annabel Schofield was born on September 4, 1963, in Llanelli, Wales. She spent her childhood around the movie industry because her father, John D. Schofield, worked as a British film production executive.

She then began acting, appearing in movies like Solar Crisis, Eye of the Widow, Blood Tide, and Dragonard.

After finding success as an actress, I transitioned to working behind the scenes in film. I’ve had the chance to contribute to some really exciting projects like The Brothers Grimm, Doom, and City of Ember. It’s been a fantastic journey seeing things from a different perspective!

In 2010, the former model shifted her career and started her own production company in Burbank.

The firm, titled Bella Bene Productions, marked a new chapter for Annabel as an executive producer.

She went on to develop several fashion projects, commercials and music ventures.

The artist developed a strong working relationship with director Nick Egan, who had previously collaborated with famous bands like The Ramones, The Clash, Duran Duran, and Oasis.

Throughout her career, she’s worked with various photographers and producers, notably contributing to a 3D advertising campaign for Guerlain starring Angelina Jolie.

She penned a novel, The Cherry Alignment, which drew from her own life as a model and actress during the 1980s.

The book included a dedication to her late friend, actor Heath Ledger.
