Stranger Things just finished its fifth and final season with a long, over two-hour finale, solidifying its place as a hugely popular series.
The animated series Rick and Morty is currently a global hit, appearing among the top 10 most-watched shows on Netflix in 44 countries. It’s reached number 2 in Austria, Germany, Latvia, and Lithuania, and is a strong number 4 in the United Kingdom. Notably, Rick and Morty isn’t available on Netflix in the United States.

Season 8 finished airing on July 27, 2025, after a total of ten episodes. Updates about Rick and Morty season 9 were announced on September 25, 2025. During a question-and-answer session on Reddit, executive producers Scott Marder and Steve Levy shared news about the show, including its expected return. Levy mentioned that season 9 was currently being finalized in post-production.
Levy announced that season 10 of Rick and Morty is currently being made, and the writers are already working on season 11, demonstrating that future seasons are well underway. According to Marder, fans can expect season 9 to premiere in fall 2026.
