A hit 8-part sitcom from CBS is delivering one last surprise.
Fans of The Neighborhood have a chance to celebrate before the show ends. After eight seasons, the beloved sitcom is wrapping up, and the final season is currently airing weekly on TV, with episodes available to stream on Paramount+ the next day.
Paramount has announced a special farewell episode of The Neighborhood called The Neighborhood: A Farewell Special, airing on CBS Monday, April 6th at 8:30 p.m. Eastern and Pacific time. Hosted by Kevin Frazier, the special will be filmed on the show’s set and celebrate the funny moments and history of The Neighborhood since it premiered in 2018.
This special features interviews with the show’s stars, sharing memories from the beginning and discussing how the series changed over the years. It includes never-before-seen footage and interviews, plus a look at the cast’s wrap party after filming ended. You’ll also get a sneak peek at the series finale.
A special episode will air one month before the show concludes, with the final episode scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2026. The series is ending after many years with CBS. Despite some initially unfavorable reviews, The Neighborhood consistently attracted a large audience, likely because viewers enjoyed its humor.
I was really happy to hear that The Neighborhood got renewed for an eighth season, but also a little sad – CBS confirmed it would be the show’s last! It’s been such a long-running success, and it was cool to see it lead to a spin-off, Crutch, with Tracy Morgan playing Calvin’s cousin. It was a fun ride, and I’m glad they gave it a proper send-off.
