73-Year-Old Jane Seymour Gushes Over Unexpected Romance with 78-Year-Old Boyfriend

Jane Seymour looked smitten with boyfriend John Zambetti in a rare outing in New York City Tuesday.

The 73-year-old British actress, who earlier declared she was finished with relationships, sported a sweater bearing the message “All you need is love” while beaming alongside her partner, also 78.

The ageless star flashed her legs in a leather mini skirt and thigh-high boots.

Her signature auburn locks were styled in soft waves and she accessorized with hoop earrings.

Musician Zambetti wore a black top, blazer and slacks as he embraced Seymour. 

Last October, Seymour shared details about the encounter when she first met her current partner a year before, as well as her feelings towards dating back then.

The celebrity confided in Tamron Hall that she hadn’t been seeking a romance when she initially caught sight of Zambetti.

At one point, I was quite content being on my own. A woman suggested, “You should go out with me,” to which I responded, “I’m 73 now, I don’t think I’ll be going out or engaging in any activities. I’ve had enough of dating; it’s not an option for me anymore,” she confided.

Initially swearing off dating, I found myself being drawn into a rendezvous orchestrated by my friend and musician Shwayze, who extended an invitation to his live performance at a Malibu nightclub.

She remembered that the following event unfolded when her mutual friend, a musician known as Shwayze, reached out, saying, “Hi, I’ll be performing at this venue next week. Would you like to join me? There’s someone I’d like you to meet,” he added.

Seymour opted to go to the performance, which was where she was set to meet her remarkable boyfriend, Zambetti.

As a lifestyle aficionado, let me share an intriguing encounter I had recently. I attended a captivating event where Shwayze performed, and there I found myself in the company of Shwayze’s grandmother. A stranger approached us, stating, “I believe we were meant to cross paths.” Looking at him squarely, I affirmed, “Indeed, we are.” This interaction, as it turns out, was exactly what I had been told to expect – a chance meeting with someone.

In essence, Zambetti and I had an extended conversation the following day over a cup of tea, which ultimately led to us sharing a meal together.

It turns out that Zambetti’s son and her son have known one another since childhood. 

She mentioned that her son, Sean, and his son, Shwayze, had become good friends, often spending time together at her place.

Although they each spent time in two separate households, Seymour and Zambetti had never crossed paths prior to this. He was blissfully married for an impressive 43 years, but unfortunately, his beloved spouse eventually passed away.

Harry Wild’s lead actress expressed that her partner is among the most remarkable events in her life, and he cares for her in a manner she hadn’t previously thought was feasible.

She mentioned that her boyfriend is exceptionally kind, loving, and exceptional. He works as an ER doctor and is quite skilled at fixing things. For the past 60 years, he’s been part of a band called The Malibooz, alongside Walter Egan.

The pair have repeatedly credited their kids for helping them find one another.

In a conversation back in 2023, Zambetti shared, “Since our children are the ones who brought us together, we won’t need to fret over their disapproval regarding whom we’re with. I feel extremely fortunate to be with her.

Seymour herself acknowledged that her partner had composed some love songs for her. He’s a songwriter, and it was probably his ability to express love through music that ultimately won her over.

In a playful manner, Zambetti remarked after Seymour’s reply, “Well, that settles it then! We’ve got three already. Maybe we’re working towards a new collection.

The couple believes they were meant to be because their sons’ shared musical backgrounds.

Seymour excitedly shared with the news outlet, “His son, Johnny Zambetti, is a highly accomplished rock musician who leads a band called The Palms.

She also mentioned that she has a son who is a rock musician, just like her, named Johnny Keach. When referring to them, we often use ‘My Johnnys’ as they share the same name.

Prior to her relationship with Zambetti, Jane had been married on four different occasions. Her former spouse, David Flynn, is the father of her two children, Katherine, aged 41, and Sean Flynn, who is 38 years old.

She also shares twin sons John Stacy and Kristopher Steven, 27, with her ex-husband James Keach.

At this stage of her life, the actress expresses joy by saying she’s “living my most content days so far, in multiple aspects.
