6 Major Marvel Characters Set to Join the Exciting WandaVision Sequel!

In the upcoming sequel to “WandaVision,” titled “Vision Quest,” we can anticipate a significant number of prominent Marvel characters making an appearance. While some have been officially confirmed, others are merely speculation at this point. The storyline for “Vision Quest” will serve as a continuation of “WandaVision,” reintroducing the white version of Vision who embarks on a quest based on the comic book series titled “Vision Quest.” In this series, Vision is set to undertake a journey aimed at recovering his lost memories.

To date, we haven’t seen any clips from the Vision Quest series on Disney+, however, filming is actively taking place. Through official announcements and updates, fans have a good idea of which characters might be featured in the show.

Confirmed: Vision

In the upcoming series titled “Vision Quest“, Paul Bettany will reprise his role as Vision. Given that Vision is a synthezoid brought to life by Ultron, it’s not surprising that he has been confirmed for a return, considering the show primarily focuses on him.

A lot of people are eager to reconnect with Vision and watch him in a new production, as it has been since his last appearance on screen in 2021’s “WandaVision”. By the finale of the show, he had flown off after gaining some understanding about his past.

Confirmed: Ultron

Following the announcement that “Vision Quest” was being developed by Marvel Studios, there were whispers and speculations that James Spader’s character, Ultron, might reappear in this upcoming project.

Indeed, those rumors turned out to be true in April 2025, when another actor from the “Vision Quest” series disclosed they had collaborated with Spader during filming. Given that Ultron was the one who brought Vision to life (before Tony Stark and Bruce Banner installed JARVIS into his system), their interactions on screen are anticipated to be quite intriguing.

Confirmed: Todd Stashwick’s Character

It’s also confirmed that Todd Stashwick will join the cast of “Vision Quest”. The specifics of his character haven’t been made public yet, but there are whispers that he might be portraying Paladin, a character who is on a mission to track down Vision and his technology.

Nevertheless, Terry Matalas, the showrunner from Star Trek: Picard, where Stashwick made an appearance, will be working with him again.

In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker was introduced to the AI known as EDITH, hidden within the glasses given to him by the deceased Tony Stark. There are whispers that this AI may appear in human form in Vision Quest, although it’s been confirmed that Emily Hampshire from Schitt’s Creek will be portraying EDITH in a different way.

Among the returning AIs, it’s unique that EDITH is the only one without its original actor, Dawn Michelle King, reprising her role.

Rumored: Jarvis

Multiple sources confirm that Jarvis will make an appearance again in Vision Quest. Prior to being transferred into the corporeal form of Vision in Age of Ultron, Jarvis played a significant role within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there are other manifestations of this character that have surfaced in the series.

In the film “Avengers: Endgame”, it is worth noting that as the heroes ventured into the past, Tony Stark found himself in the presence of a real individual named Jarvis. The character of Jarvis, portrayed by James D’Arcy on screen, was present with him.

It is unknown which version of Jarvis will appear in the series, along with his actor.

According to some sources, there are rumors suggesting that a human character will appear in the upcoming show, with D’Arcy possibly reprising his role. However, this hasn’t been officially verified yet. Previous comments from D’Arcy hint towards a potential return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, increasing speculation about his possible involvement in the project.

Rumored: FRIDAY

On Fridays, many Marvel Comics Universe (MCU) enthusiasts have developed a fondness for this AI software, FRIDAY, which Tony Stark began utilizing following the upload of JARVIS into Vision.

According to the inside info from Daniel Richtman, it’s said that actress Kerry Condon is set to return to her character, Friday, but this time she’ll be appearing as a human version of the role.

Rumored: Tommy Maximoff

It’s been whispered among insiders that the male co-lead in “Vision Quest” is expected to be a young British man with Caucasian origins, aged between 18 and 20. Although the identity of this co-lead remains undisclosed, there are strong rumors suggesting it could be Tommy Maximoff.

Given that Marvel Studios conducted auditions for the character instead of offering the role directly to Jett Klyne, it seems likely that Jett Klyne will not play the part again if it turns out to be Tommy Maximoff.

However, that co-lead could be another character. If that is the case, Klyne could return as Tommy.

It has been disclosed by insiders that the immediate family of Vision, as depicted in the comics, will feature in “Vision Quest”. Thus, there is a possibility for Vin (Vision’s synthetic son) to make an appearance.

In the comic books, Vision produces a son named Vin as an attempt to make himself more human-like. Given that this is essentially what Vision is aiming for in “Vision Quest“, it wouldn’t come as a shock if we encounter Vin.

Rumored: Viv

In relation to Vision, Viv is his synthezoid daughter, while Vin serves as his synthezoid son. Interestingly, just like Vin, Vision himself has a daughter named Viv.

Rumored: Jocasta

In the rumors surrounding the film “Vision Quest”, there’s talk about the appearance of another character named Jocasta, who, like Vision, is a creation of Ultron from the comics. Unlike other creations, however, Jocasta was designed as a powerful adversary for those who challenged her, but instead, she rebelled against her programming and transformed into a hero.
