6 burning questions we have going into Skeleton Crew episode 3

As a seasoned gamer and Star Wars enthusiast with over three decades of fandom under my belt, I can confidently say that the premiere of “Skeleton Crew” has been nothing short of exhilarating! The intrigue and speculation it’s sparked among fans like myself is a testament to its engaging storyline.

The debut of “Skeleton Crew” has been widely regarded as a massive triumph, sparking discussions and intriguing theories among fans about future developments.

In the opening installments, viewers were intrigued by numerous vital queries regarding settings, personalities, and events shaping the storyline in Skeleton Crew. Here are some of the most pressing questions we’ve encountered thus far:

What happened to Aldhani?

In a somewhat related context, the planet Aldhani from the series “Andor” might bear more relevance than Skeleton Crew’s setting, Cassian Andor’s first heist took place on this planet, and it appears to have undergone significant changes. SM 33 describes Aldhani as a “swampy, sulfur-rich world,” which is a stark contrast to its earlier depiction in “Andor.” This raises speculation about the impact of Cassian’s heist on Aldhani and the Empire’s actions following the event. The deterioration of Aldhani suggests a grim fate for its native inhabitants.

When did At Attin disappear?

In the fictional work “Skeleton Crew,” Attin is known as a legendary pirate hideout rumored to house eternal riches. Yet, it’s widely doubted that it exists in reality or if its location can be pinpointed. Despite this, both the planet and its inhabitants are acknowledged as genuine. The question remains: When was Attin removed from maps, under what circumstances did it vanish seemingly, and why has the government prohibited any vessels from departing or arriving there?

What year is it on At Attin?

Is it that the inhabitants of At Attin are dwelling in an age similar to the rest of the galaxy following the New Republic era, or do they still hold onto the idea that the Galactic Republic persists? Does anyone on this planet have knowledge about Emperor Palpatine? The young ones might be brought up thinking their time is distinct and may uncover the truth about the Old Republic, the Jedi, and the galaxy’s past over the next 30 to 40 years in the series, but they might not appreciate learning the reality.

Was the Nebula used to hide At Attin during the Galactic Civil War?

It seems that the legendary world of At Attin doesn’t exist, which could indicate it went unnoticed during the Empire’s rule. Could it be possible that At Attin successfully evaded the clashes between the Republic and Separatists, as well as the rise and fall of the Empire, by hiding itself? It’s hard to fathom a planet escaping all the chaos in the galaxy for the past 30-40 years, but “Skeleton Crew” leaves us pondering such tantalizing scenarios.

Is Jod Na Nawood a Jedi?

In the upcoming episodes of the series, we won’t get insights into Nawood’s background right away, but his demeanor suggests he didn’t grow up in the Jedi Temple. Although it’s possible that he might have Force abilities, it seems unlikely for him to be another individual who survived Order 66. It would add an interesting twist if it turns out that Nawood hails from a different galaxy and doesn’t align with traditional Jedi or Sith teachings regarding the use of the Force.

How will the kids return home?

As a gamer, Alone in this universe without any coordinates to our home planet, At Attin, and with many questioning its existence, Neel, Fern, KB, and I find ourselves lost. Will our parents defy the rules and venture beyond the boundaries of their own planet to locate us? Or will Jod, a being whose intentions towards us remain uncertain, aid us in our quest? With the treasure hunt possibly serving as the guide to lead us back home, we must tread carefully and hope for the best.

Skeleton Crew is streaming on Disney+. The third episode drops on Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. ET.
