I had heard that season 3 would premiere early in 2025, but the fact that it might be as soon as Feb. 2, 2025, is quite unexpected. Given that the series has always been a Sunday special, this could mean an early release date. As soon as we get the confirmed air date, we’ll make sure to share the update here!

The series will continue to air on HBO and stream on Max simultaneously 

Regarding television programming, we’re all about having a variety of choices! Among these options, I particularly enjoy HBO series due to their user-friendly storylines. If an HBO series isn’t airing and streaming simultaneously on Max, it will be promptly added to Max following its broadcast on HBO. Much like most HBO shows, “The White Lotus” is scheduled to air every Sunday night on HBO. However, for those who don’t have access to the network or can’t watch at the designated time, each episode can be streamed later on Max at your convenience.

Pack your bags, we’re going to Thailand! 

Though “The White Lotus” may change its stories each season, the location remains consistent. This time around, we’ll be visiting the Thailand branch of the resort, where we can check-in and indulge ourselves. Although it might not be a total unwinding and relaxation, the essence is still there! The first season was set in Hawaii, while the second one transported us to Sicily.

Season 3 is going to be supersized (more episodes?)

Despite the new season being just a couple of months away, neither a plot nor trailer has been revealed yet. However, series creator Mike White hinted that Season 3 would be an expanded version of “The White Lotus.” To clarify, White mentioned that Season 3 will be longer, grander, and more chaotic than previous seasons.

I don’t know about you, but longer to me means more episodes. And I really hope that’s the case! Also, if the season is going to be “bigger” and “crazier” we need a few extra episodes, wouldn’t you agree? The first season features six episodes, while season 2 consists of seven. Will the third season hit 10 episodes? Fingers crossed! 

In summary, during a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, White mentioned that Season 3 is set to provide a comical exploration of topics like death, eastern philosophies, and spirituality – following seasons 1’s focus on money and greed, and 2’s emphasis on sex and personal relationships.
