Typically a low-key gathering, this convention is often Star Trek’s last chance to share updates before the year ends. While the franchise usually reveals most of its news at San Diego Comic-Con or other major Star Trek-centric conventions, in recent times, New York Comic Con has gained a reputation for being news-rich.

Previously, indeed, we witnessed the unique blend of Kid Cudi and Star Trek. Although it might not have been a massive fan favorite, it was undeniably a substantial milestone. This year could follow suit, as there’s a strong possibility of some major announcements stemming from the event.
