5 roster changes during the WWE Transfer Window

As a longtime WWE fan who has weathered countless drafts and roster shuffles, I must say that this upcoming transfer window under Triple H’s reign feels like a breath of fresh air. The potential for exciting matchups and storylines is palpable, and I can hardly wait to see these five moves come to fruition.

Historically, the WWE Draft has been a contentious yearly event in the WWE due to insufficient attention paid within Vince McMahon’s creative department, resulting in minimal impactful changes. However, under Triple H’s leadership, things are shifting, and the addition of the “transfer window” offers an intriguing twist to roster adjustments. During the December 6 episode of SmackDown, it was revealed that this transfer window will encompass all three brands, allowing stars to switch shows. Considering who is up for grabs, here are five moves that should take place when the window goes live.

Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson to the main roster

It seems clear that Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson are likely to make a permanent move to the main roster. They’ve been frequently showcased on both SmackDown and Monday Night Raw, suggesting they may be ready to graduate from NXT. While Legend has had more exposure, both performers could gain from this transition. Placing them both on Monday Night Raw would strengthen that division, which currently lacks depth, while also providing a new contender for the tag team titles.

Finn Balor to SmackDown

Finn Balor is increasingly distancing himself from The Judgment Day, and it seems the slogan “Win with Finn” might not be accurate for this faction. It appears unlikely that Balor will defeat GUNTHER, regardless of whether Damian Priest is involved or not. As the other members of the group start to lose as well, the blame will likely fall on the one perceived as the leader. Moving Balor to SmackDown could provide the show with a high-profile villain and potentially offer him a fresh perspective that could lead to the title run fans have been eagerly anticipating.

Pure Fusion Collective to WWE NXT

Despite its somewhat questionable name, it seems that the WWE may not have any long-term strategies for Pure Fusion Collective. Moving this group to WWE NXT could present some intriguing possibilities. They would join what is currently one of the best-managed women’s divisions in wrestling, allowing them to interact with talents like Roxanne Perez, Giulia, or Stephanie Vaquer. Zoey Stark might even have a shot at becoming the WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion, while Sonya Deville could cause trouble as the General Manager. Placing PFC in NXT would bring a refreshing twist as women’s division names shift around.

LA Knight to Monday Night Raw

LA Knight losing the WWE United States Championship was a shocking move at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. Shinsuke Nakamura hasn’t been booked well for years, so to see him defeat Knight raised questions about the latter’s position on the roster. He’s still over with the fans, and a change of scenery could do him well. Imagine Knight as a top contender to Gunther’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship. That’s a feud that would garner attention from fans.

The Street Profits (With B-Fab) to WWE NXT

As a passionate fan, it’s clear that Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, and B-Fab have been trapped in the tag team limbo on SmackDown for quite some time now. Fans like me have longed for a shift in their storylines, praying for a fresh start. A simple split at this point wouldn’t make much of a difference. Instead, I believe they could benefit from a stint back on WWE NXT.
