5 mind-bending TV shows to watch between new episodes of From

As a devoted fan of mind-bending series that keep me guessing until the very last episode, I can wholeheartedly vouch for this list! I’ve spent countless hours immersed in the enigmatic worlds of these shows, and they’ve left an indelible mark on my TV-watching life.

The popular MGM+ show “From” has just started its third season, leaving viewers hooked as they unravel additional intriguing secrets surrounding the mysterious town where individuals find themselves stranded following an encounter with a downed tree.

As a gaming enthusiast who simply can’t get enough of the intriguing narrative in “From”, I understand why fans are always on the lookout for more brain-teasing shows to keep them hooked. Here are five series that you might find captivating and perfect for binge-watching while eagerly awaiting the next episode of “From”. Enjoy!

Teacup

A fresh entry to our collection is an engrossing horror series streaming on Peacock, titled “The Farm”. This series centers around a group of individuals who find themselves stranded on a rural homestead during a power outage and various bizarre occurrences. The inhabitants of this farm are a family and their nearby neighbors. However, when a man in a gas mask appears and marks the perimeter with blue paint, they quickly uncover a chilling secret about what crossing that line entails.

Lost

Among all the series on this roster, “Lost” is arguably the most acclaimed and impactful. It’s only fair to bring it up given that both “From” and “Lost” hail from the same production team. In essence, “From” bears a resemblance to “Lost”, as it revolves around a group of individuals who find themselves confined in a single location, albeit this time it’s a peculiar small town instead of an island. If you haven’t watched “Lost” before, it’s highly recommended that you do so.

Westworld

Unfortunately, enthusiasts of the television show Westworld, learned that it was terminated after four seasons. This may not have been the creators’ ideal ending, but it’s important to note that many series don’t even make it past this number. Despite the incomplete conclusion, I strongly advise giving Westworld a watch, especially if you enjoy science fiction. The series is inspired by a 1973 film and centers around an exclusive “amusement park” inhabited by highly intelligent artificial beings called “hosts,” which seem to develop consciousness over time.

Severance

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but be captivated by one of Apple TV+’s all-time favorites – a psychological thriller that pushes the boundaries like no other. The concept revolves around a unique “severance” program within a company, where an employee (Adam Scott) delves into something uncharted, aiming to separate his work memories from his personal ones. This innovative series garnered 14 Emmy nominations and is set to return for its much-anticipated second season in January 2025.

Dark

The German Netflix series, “Dark“, gained immense popularity due to its intricate and captivating narrative. Unlike shows that can be watched casually while multitasking, this one demands your undivided attention and more. In fact, there are entire online platforms dedicated to deciphering the storyline of this outstanding series. However, what truly sets it apart is that the creators had a clear vision from the start, resulting in a complete and polished work of art.
