5 Harley Quinn characters who have yet to appear in Kite Man
As a long-time fan who’s seen more DC comics and animated shows than I can count on one hand (and a few toes), let me tell you that Kite Man has been a breath of fresh air since its debut. It’s like Harley Quinn‘s little brother, keeping the same zany energy while carving out its own niche.
The spin-off series featuring the character, Kite Man, has proven to be a worthy successor of one of DC’s top shows from the past ten years. Since its premiere in 2019, Harley Quinn has garnered critical praise and has amassed a dedicated fanbase, so it’s no wonder that it spawned a spinoff, particularly given its focus on Kite Man.
Harley Quinn’s rich cast of characters is vast, many of which could fit seamlessly into Kite Man. Regardless of how they appear, they will undoubtedly bring more fun and excitement to the series. Indeed, Kite Man has successfully recaptured the essence of Harley Quinn, complete with its emotional depth and engaging narrative. These specific characters would be fantastic additions to the show.
Aquaman
The depiction of Aquaman by Harley Quinn is one of the funniest characters on the program. This portrayal deviates from the usual representation of the character (much like many other characters on the show), but when Aquaman appeared, he consistently stole the spotlight and delivered some of the best jokes in the entire series.
Even defeating Kite Man himself when they met, Aquaman’s return would be a welcome one.
Maxie Zeus
On the show “Harley Quinn,” Maxie Zeus is yet another highly comedic character. Pretending to be a deity, he operates as a motivational speaker, often posing a threat to both heroes and villains.
He’s no stranger to Bat-fans, with appearances on previous animated outings like Batman: The Animated Series and The Batman, so he should add Kite Man to his repertoire.
Dr. Psycho
As an ardent admirer, let me share that one pivotal character from the captivating series, Harley Quinn, is none other than Dr. Psycho. Initially, he was a part of Harley’s nefarious gang, but then chose to embark on a path of villainy all by himself. The last time he was spotted, it was within the confines of Arkham Asylum, where he claimed to be undergoing “rehabilitation.” Yet, one can’t help but suspect that his sinister side still persists.
It seems ideal to reintroduce him into the Harley Quinn Cinematic Universe right about now, letting him cause chaos with Kite Man, giving Harley a brief respite from him – at least temporarily.
Batman
In the series ‘Harley Quinn’, Batman underwent a profound character transformation. Initially portrayed as a hero, he was later forced to abandon his heroic duties due to an injury, and then was imprisoned for tax evasion. Despite these setbacks, spanning only a few seasons, The Dark Knight has faced numerous trials. Now, he’s preparing for a significant comeback.
Kite Man has always been an enemy of Batman, an enemy who may be just what the series needs. Why not bring the Caped Crusader in to draw in some extra Bat-fans and build out that history between him and Kite Man a bit more?
King Shark
Among Harley’s fellow crew members, King Shark is often fondly recalled as one of the standout characters in the Harley Quinn series. His knack for humor and lightheartedness significantly added to the show’s enjoyment, making it truly enjoyable. Given that most characters from that show are adept at delivering laughs, this speaks volumes about King Shark’s unique appeal.
As a gaming aficionado, I can confidently say that King Shark was a key character in our favorite series, and it’s clear that he’d fit perfectly in Kite Man’s team too.
