Levy later collaborated with the film’s star, Ryan Reynolds, on the hugely successful R-rated movie Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). The movie also features several other actors known from Marvel films, including Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, and Zoe Saldaña.

The Netflix sci-fi film centers on Adam Reed, played by Reynolds, as he goes back in time to prevent his wife, Laura (Saldaña), from being killed. During his journey, he partners with a younger version of himself, portrayed by Walker Scobell, and reconnects with his parents, including his father, Louis Reed, played by Ruffalo – both Adams deeply missed him after he passed away.
