On her 28th birthday, the son she gave up for adoption, Henry, comes knocking on her door declaring she needs to break the curse her parents and the rest of the fairytale characters are under. The curse is the Evil Queen brought them all to our world from the Enchanted Forest and erased their memories.

As a devoted fan, I’ve noticed that while Anne with an E is richly textured with historical details and magical realism, the show currently unfolding isn’t quite the same. Instead, it’s set in contemporary times, veering away from the original story’s historical backdrop.

Henry, aged ten, demonstrates creativity, determination, and eventually evolves into something akin to a writer throughout the series, much like Anne. The narrative primarily revolves around the family dynamic, as they encounter adversaries and supernatural entities. Brace yourself for an exciting and thrilling journey!
