3 WWE performers who could win in the UFC

As a seasoned gamer who’s spent countless hours immersed in the worlds of both WWE and UFC, I can’t help but ponder over the potential crossover between these two powerhouses. While it’s good that we haven’t seen any major stars jumping ship just yet, I can’t help but imagine a few faces in the Octagon.

Through their merger, the WWE and UFC have grown more intertwined, forming TKO Group Holdings. This union has brought these entertainment giants closer together, with some speculating about talent swapping between the two. However, as of now, it appears there are no concrete plans for such a move. Still, there are certain WWE personalities who might excel in UFC if they were to make the transition. Here are three performers who could find success in the Octagon and potentially secure a win or two.

The Creed Brothers

The Creed Brothers, specifically Julius and Brutus Creed, are undeniably skilled tag team wrestlers. Often referred to as The Creed Brothers, they’re making waves in the world of professional wrestling’s tag team division. It won’t be long before they capture the tag team title on the main roster and maintain their dominance within the group. However, should they ever decide to explore mixed martial arts, both individuals possess the fundamental skills necessary for victory.

Julius wrestled at Duke University where he was a two-time NCAA All-American and a three-time NCAA Academic All-American. He set the Duke record for most wins in a single season and ranked second overall in career wins. He even placed fifth 2016 Olympic trials. Julius is familiar with MMA, as he helped UFC Hall of Famer, Daniel Cormier, prepare for his UFC 214 fight against Jon Jones.

At Otterbein University, Brutus excelled as a wrestler, culminating in a remarkable collegiate record of 108 wins and only 13 losses upon graduation. Notably, he was recognized twice as an All-American in the NCAA Division III. In his senior year, he remained unbeaten, but regrettably, the COVID-19 pandemic prevented him from participating in the NCAA wrestling championship.

Given their robust history in wrestling, it’s plausible that they can secure a win in the heavyweight category without much difficulty.

Ivy Nile

In my chat with Ivy Nile, who was once associated with Diamond Mine and is currently part of American Made, it’s clear that she has the potential to achieve success in the realm of combat sports. Before joining WWE in 2020, Nile showcased her skills in both the Titan Games and mixed martial arts, competing in the women’s flyweight division. Despite having just one amateur fight in 2018, she established a foundation that has helped refine her MMA abilities.

Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross, a WWE performer, continues to hone his skills at fitness centers globally. Notably, he has advanced to the Brown Belt level in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, just one step from achieving Black Belt status, a significant accomplishment in this martial art. Fellow wrestlers on the roster have applauded his progress, emphasizing its importance. Many top fighters value grappling skills like those taught in BJJ, as they can be crucial in combat sports. If Kross were to compete in UFC someday, his BJJ abilities could potentially secure him a win.
