As a dedicated AEW fan with a rich history of wrestling fandom spanning over two decades, I eagerly anticipate the spectacle that is AEW All In. The card this year promises a rollercoaster ride of emotions and adrenaline-pumping action.
At AEW All In, an impressive lineup of matches promises an unforgettable experience for spectators. Just like any other AEW Pay-Per-View event, it’s guaranteed that there will be plenty of thrilling moments during the broadcast. Here are three major highlights you shouldn’t miss on Sunday:
Jamie Hayter’s big return
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) can’t make its way back to England without including Jamie Hayter in their plans. She’s been absent since losing the AEW Women’s World Championship to Toni Storm on May 28, 2023. Ever since then, fans have eagerly anticipated her return to the ring, but there hasn’t been much news suggesting that it will happen soon. As Britt Baker prepares for All In to challenge Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship, having Hayter on the roster could even the odds for Baker. A possible solution would be if she receives assistance from Hayter during the match, which would not only help Baker but also strengthen the women’s division in AEW.
Ricochet makes his debut
Ricochet is heading to AEW. Fightful Select reported that he’s signed a multi-year contract and is heading overseas. There are plans for him to take part in the PPV, but there’s no telling exactly how that will happen. There are several ways that Ricochet can get involved with the PPV, and they all point toward him being a major star for the company. Fans spent years complaining about how WWE leveraged someone of his abilities. Now, Ricochet is heading over to Tony Khan’s company and hopefully gets his opportunity to stand at the top of a major company.
Bryan Danielson finally wins the big one
In All Elite Wrestling (AEW), there’s a recurring theme that Bryan Danielson refuses to win significant matches during his tenure in AEW. Instead, he consistently lets other stars shine on his legacy. However, it appears his wrestling career might be nearing its end. Given this context, it seems fitting for him to claim the AEW World Championship at least once before he retires. Some viewers might feel the title versus career match could spoil the outcome, but AEW has a knack for making predictable moments feel grand, even when audiences anticipate them. If Danielson were to defeat Swerve Strickland in this match, it would make an excellent finale for the show.
