3 of the wildest moments of Mike Perry’s career

As a longtime fan of mixed martial arts (MMA), I’ve seen my fair share of wild moments throughout the years. But when it comes to identifying the most memorable ones from Mike Perry’s UFC and Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) career, I find myself drawn to three particularly unforgettable experiences that have left a lasting impression on me.

As a gamer, I can tell you from experience that recalling the most exhilarating moments from Mike Perry’s UFC and BKFC career is no easy feat. With every move he makes in the ring, there seems to be an element of the unexpected and wildness about it. In fact, one could even say Perry himself is a living embodiment of wild moments.

His girlfriend in his corner

In the year 2020, Mike Perry shocked the MMA world when he revealed that he had dismissed all of his coaches and instead opted to have his girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez, as his sole corner person during his fight. Many pundits predicted an easy win for his opponent based on this unexpected decision. However, they were proved wrong as Perry emerged victorious with the help and support of his girlfriend. This moment is now remembered fondly in UFC history. An intriguing side note is that they have since gotten married and started a family together, indicating a successful outcome from this unconventional arrangement.

Mike Perry’s broken nose

Mike Perry’s notorious broken nose is almost as recognized as him. During his fight against Vicente Luque in Uruguay in 2019, Perry’s nose took a severe hit, leaving it misshapen. The break was so extreme that it left an indelible impression, one that I can’t erase from my mind and now, neither can you.

Choosing just one exciting fight featuring Perry among numerous contenders proved to be quite a challenge. However, my personal favorite is the bout against Michael “Venom” Page at BKFC 27. This six-round battle was filled with thrilling back-and-forth exchanges that left us all on the edge of our seats. In the end, Perry emerged victorious via majority decision.
