Here’s the latest on when Caitlyn will be available in 2XKO. We’ll also break down her gameplay trailer, giving you a first glimpse of her abilities and how she plays.

Riot Games has announced that Caitlyn will be available in 2XKO on [Date – insert date here]. A trailer showcasing how she plays is also now available.

2XKO Caitlyn release date

Starting January 20th and 21st, players will be able to use Caitlyn as a champion in 2XKO on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

She’s joining the first season of 2XKO, alongside fighters like Vi, Jinx, Warwick, Ekko, Ahri, Yasuo, Blitzcrank, Braum, Illaoi, Darius, and Teemo.

This is the reveal trailer for Caitlyn’s gameplay. It shows her battling opponents like Darius, Ahri, Yasuo, Illaoi, Blitzcrank, Warwick, Jinx, and Vi using her rifle. One of her abilities includes a trap with a cupcake on top – a playful reference to Vi’s nickname for Caitlyn. The trailer also highlights Caitlyn’s ability to use a shield that moves forward, as well as her powerful headshots and rifle blasts.

How to unlock Caitlyn in 2XKO

Okay, so I just saw on 2XKO’s X feed that Caitlyn is going to be a free champion! To unlock her, we’ll have to complete some missions during her recruitment event. It looks like the event starts either January 20th or 21st, depending on where you are in the world.

Players can also unlock her right away by purchasing the Ultra Battle Pass or using a Champion Token.

2XKO Arcane champions

In December, the 2XKO account announced Caitlyn as a new playable character, adding to the growing number of champions from the Netflix series Arcane. They also noted that a lot of characters were already coming from that show.

As of today, the Arcane champions available in 2XKO are Caitlyn, Vi, Jinx, Warwick, and Ekko.
