The tournament features a thrilling lineup of top players from Dragon Ball FighterZ, as well as well-known competitors from games like Guilty Gear and Street Fighter.
The League of Legends fighting game is now available in early access, and it’s already landed a major tournament – it will be featured at Evo France 2025.
As a fighting game fan, I’m really excited to see 2XKO getting some early esports attention. It’s at these first competitions that the community really starts to dig into the game – figuring out all the little details and what strategies work best. Plus, you see top players from other fighting games trying to make 2XKO their new main game, and it’s cool to think they might stick around for a long time and dominate the scene!
At Evo France 2025, 2XKO is present as a side tournament. Everything about this event is here!

Tag-team legends and beyond: Tournament preview
2XKO offers a fresh spin on the classic tag-team fighting game, letting players control a team of two League of Legends characters. It’s not surprising that many well-known players in the fighting game community are eager to try it out.
Here are some of the notable participants of 2XKO Evo France 2025.
- SonicFox: Beyond being arguably the best Mortal Kombat player, SonicFox has established themselves as a DBFZ Champion. Their competition with GO1 in the first seasons was absolutely remarkable.
- Hikari is a two-time DBFZ World Tour winner and the Evo 2023 Champion.
- Wawa is one of the best in DBFZ. Right before his retirement from this game, Wawa won Evo 2022 and the DBFZ World Tour 2021-2022.
- Yasha won multiple DBFZ tournaments, including UFA 2024. He is one of those who remained in Dragon Ball FighterZ until its later years.
- WADE is another DBFZ top player. Not only did he win UFA 2025 for that game, but WADE also reached the top at the tournament for 2XKO beta-version as part of the UFA event.

France has a big fan base for Dragon Ball FighterZ, and that enthusiasm also applies to 2XKO.
We also have some fighting games celebrities from other titles registered for 2XKO Evo France.
- Leffen is one of the most recognisable faces in Guilty Gear Strive. He is the Evo 2023 Champion.
- Zando won GGST UFA in 2024 and 2025.
- Tachikawa is a strong Street Fighter 6 player from Japan.
- dekillsage achieved great success in Skullgirls, an indie tag-team fighter.
2XKO esports is quickly becoming more popular, and we anticipate seeing it featured prominently at major fighting game tournaments. It’s even possible the game will be an official event at Evo Las Vegas in 2026.
