As a movie enthusiast, you might have noticed my fondness for character posters. The newest additions are from Sony Pictures, revealing four captivating character posters for Danny Boyle’s upcoming post-apocalyptic horror film titled “28 Years Later”. I’m excited about this project, as it’s directed by Boyle and written by Alex Garland – the team behind the original “28 Days Later” from 2002, followed by “28 Weeks Later” in 2007. This latest installment is unique because it’s a two-part film, with both parts shot consecutively.
28 Years After the Unleashing: This story unfolds 28 years following the initial outbreak of the ferocious Rage Virus in a Cambridge lab, which transformed carriers into bloodthirsty zombies and led to the collapse of society. A band of survivors has constructed a well-defended settlement on a secluded island that’s linked to the mainland by a slim causeway. However, they come to learn that terrifying secrets and ominous dangers lurk much closer than they suspect. Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, and Alfie Williams headline the cast.
