Review: In the dark lark ‘Companion,’ it’s hard to trust your date when AI is a factor

As a fan, I’d describe “Companion” as an intriguing duo adventure starring Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid, who embark on a romantic getaway only to encounter unexpected twists involving hidden agendas and faulty technology. It leans more towards the entertaining escapade like “M3GAN” (with similar cautionary humor about artificial intelligence), rather than the suspenseful psychological thriller “Barbarian,” which was a surprise hit from last fall that the film’s promotions would prefer you not forget.

Additionally, Connie and Steve Ballmer, who own the Clippers, the Intuit Dome, and the Forum, have promised to double all donations made during the event.

WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 1 Predictions: CM Punk Will BURY Cody Rhodes

As a die-hard fan, I must admit there’s been quite a buzz about John Cena potentially winning the Royal Rumble and clinching his 17th World Title at WrestleMania this year. However, given that he hasn’t secured a singles victory since 2018, it seems questionable, bordering on poor writing decisions, to have him break Ric Flair’s record in such a manner. As Cena himself admitted, it would be nothing short of a miracle for him to achieve this feat.

Instead, I’d love to see a more compelling narrative unfold. Perhaps Cena could face numerous challenges throughout the year, battling adversity every step of the way before ultimately reaching his goal. His first hurdle might come in the form of Drew McIntyre, who could shatter Cena’s WrestleMania dreams by eliminating him from the Rumble Match, making the road to victory even more arduous and satisfying when he finally conquers it.
