2025 Disney After Hours dates and details for Magic Kingdom

2025 Disney After Hours dates and details for Magic Kingdom

As a seasoned gamer of Disney World, I can confidently say that the return of the Disney After Hours event next year is music to my ears! Over the years, I’ve learned that the Magic Kingdom after dark is an entirely different experience – it’s like stepping into a magical wonderland with fewer crowds and shorter wait times.

It’s amazing how quickly the New Year is approaching! As many of you might have begun planning your trips to Disney World in 2025, it’s worth noting that the popular Disney After Hours event will make a comeback next year.

2025 will see After Hours events at Magic Kingdom, just like we previously mentioned for Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Here are the dates for these special night-time experiences at Magic Kingdom:

  • January 6, 13, 20 and 27
  • February 3, 10, 17 and 24
  • March 3, 17, 24 and 31
  • April 7 and 28
  • May 5, 12 and 19

2025 will see a grand total of 17 Disney’s Magic Kingdom After Hours events for me and fellow enthusiasts! However, it’s important to note that these dates don’t include Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which traditionally occur from August through December. Unlike the standard After Hours event, these themed events offer a unique experience, extending our park time beyond the usual closing hours.

For those not aware, After Hours is a special event that requires a separate ticket and is only open to a limited number of visitors. Starting from 7:00 p.m., guests can enter the park and remain until three hours after it closes (from 10:0.m. to 1:00 a.m.). Although this might not seem like much time, due to the restricted number of attendees, lines for attractions and character interactions will be shorter, allowing you to try everything at least once. Furthermore, your ticket grants access to an array of unlimited treats such as ice cream, popcorn, and select beverages.

Disney After Hours tickets at Magic Kingdom Park can fluctuate, yet typically fall between $175 and $185 per ticket. Undeniably expensive, nevertheless, I adore the ambiance of Disney after dark, and the reduced crowd makes it a significantly more enjoyable experience for me. If you have some extra cash to spare, I’d say it’s worth the investment. In fact, there’s a case to be made that After Hours offers a superior overall experience compared to paying for an entire day at Magic Kingdom, as you might not even manage to ride everything during regular hours.
