It’s been reported by Deadline that Jill Jacobson, who appeared as Vanessa in Star Trek: The Next Generation’s second season episode “The Royale” and Aroya in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s “Broken Link,” has passed away at the age of 70. Known for her extensive acting career, Jacobson made her debut as Sherri in the 1977 slasher horror film Nurse Sherri. Over the years, she continued to act until 2020, with her final onscreen role being a bartender in Etheria. Currently, she has another project, Merrily, in production and set for release in November 2025.
