NASCAR: Several drivers set to miss the 2025 Daytona 500

For the NASCAR Cup Series, the maximum number of participating cars is 40 each weekend, with 36 slots guaranteed through the charter system. Currently, it seems this fixed number of 36 will continue in 2025, as a result of recent decisions supporting three-team organizations like 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports, which previously showed signs of being required to compete without charters next year.
