Star Trek: Lower Decks is wrapping up after completing five seasons. This animated series carved out a suitable space among Star Trek enthusiasts, although it never achieved universal acclaim from the entire fanbase. The 10 Best Movie Performances of 2024

Movies attract us for various reasons – the captivating visuals of excellent cinematography, the intellectual engagement with a director’s thoughts, and the simple joy of following a narrative unfold. However, if we are being honest, it is the magnetic pull of the actors that truly enthralls us. Actors serve as a direct link between us and the screen, transmitting an electric energy that resonates deeply within our core. Review: Heading abroad, a stranger decides to stay awhile in the gently funny ‘The Black Sea’

I’ve never had the chance to visit Bulgaria, but it’s primarily known to me as a charming Balkan country that offers affordable locations for action films, and it’s the homeland of tennis sensation Grigor Dimitrov and Oscar-nominated actress Maria Bakalova. However, a film that has sparked my curiosity about visiting is “The Black Sea,” a spontaneous comedy directed by Crystal Moselle and Derrick B. Harden, with Harden also starring in it. This movie evokes a desire to explore the country, if only to find the lively spirit and striking beauty it showcases so captivatingly.
