According to Puck News, the creative mind behind hit series like “Peaky Blinders,” “The Veil,” “A Thousand Blows” and “This Town,” Steven Knight, has stepped away from his screenwriting role for an upcoming “Star Wars” film featuring Rey, portrayed by Daisy Ridley in the sequel trilogy. The plot will focus on Rey’s journey post-“The Rise of Skywalker,” as she endeavors to establish a new Jedi academy. Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy remains attached to direct the project.
