28 Years Later will reportedly follow a boy trying to save his dying mother

Approximately twenty years following its debut in 2002, we’re long overdue for a sequel to the highly praised post-apocalyptic horror film “28 Days Later,” directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland. Excitingly, the upcoming movie titled “28 Years Later” marks the beginning of a new trilogy that takes place in a world filled with the chilling “rage virus.” As suggested by actor Ralph Fiennes, the initial two films of this trilogy have already been filmed consecutively.
