Legendary sci-fi editor Gardner Dozois’ UFO book Chains of the Sea optioned for movie adaptation

Gardner Dozois was a pivotal figure in science fiction editing throughout the years, initially through his role as editor for Asimov’s Science Fiction magazine and later by orchestrating the annual Year’s Best Science Fiction anthologies. Furthermore, he maintained a close relationship with George R.R. Martin, author of A Song of Ice and Fire; they collaborated on various projects together, such as the cross-genre anthology Warriors. Now, it seems that his UFO novella Chains of the Sea could be adapted into a feature film.
